Better than expected
These are not normal binoculars, these are "fixed focus", these do not need you to adjust the focus. (absolutely perfect for a group of kids, you literally need no instructions, MAYBE you need to tell them which end is which)The big downside to this type of binoculars is that you cannot see anything that's too close to you!Your eyes and brain will be what is focusing the image. It does take getting used to, while it is a natural process, it feels just a bit different since everything is bigger. If you have health issues with your eyes, you may not like these. My own two eyes usually require a heavy diopter adjustment on binoculars. Diopter adjustment is available on these. If I left the adjustment at 0, it still works but you can feel weird. So basically, if you leave diopter at 0, I think you can still hand this to another person and not require re-adjustment, but don't use it for too long, you might get headaches. The optical performance of these is competitive with all the other $20 normal binoculars on Amazon. This one is using a porro prism, so it is a bit bigger than other 25mm binoculars, it is probably not going to fit in pants pockets.Construction is solid but plastic. The rubber eyecups came a bit squished. The case it came with is surprisingly good for a product this cheap. The neck strap is much better than any other $20 binoculars. It's a strap that's not a round string, but a 1/4" wide band, so it'll hurt your skin less. Plus, it's actually adjustable.I would recommend this if you are absolutely sure you want the benefits of "fixed focus" and accept its major downsides.

Very Good Binoculars on the Cheap
I bought these binoculars on a lark. They were about $20. They have BAK 4 optics, the same quality as binoculars many times the price. That said, t hey have limitations. First, they are fixed focus very convenient, provided you are at least 20 ft away. No close-up focus here. They have a 25mm objective lens. They won't be as clear as similar binoculars with 36mm objectives. The good news is these are really compact and only weigh half a pound. On a bright day they are just fine. I compared them to 8x36 mm objective binoculars at about 200 yards mid-day with satisfactory esults. They come with a belt loop case. They would fit it aa bike jersey pocket or a backpack loop. They would work at a concert, make great opera glasses. I'm sure the build quality is not the same caliber as more expensive binoculars, but your loss wouldn't be much if they submerged in water while boating , back packing, or cycling. If they smashed while out on an adventure, not great loss. I just purchased 2 nice pairs of binoculars and bought these on a lark. They would be a great gift for a child. They are not a piece of junk.

Great Cheap Binoculars
We bought these for a trip to Maine and they worked great for the price. Clearer than other brands we tried and well worth the price.

Acceptable for the price, poor quality
I recently bought a pair of SV202 8x42 and was really impressed with them. Looking for something portable to throw in your pocket or handbag for EDC, I didn't think it twice and went with Svbony again. I don't ask much for 20 bucks, but was dissapointed with the build quality. They are constructed of cheap plastic and are very light and seem fragile. The unit is missaligned and you have to force one side up and one side down to get a decent image. I fear that over time this will cause te issue to get increasingly worse. For the price and the intended use, they (barely) deliver, but I expected more, specially since I was so impressed with the SV202's.

These are the ones you get with the bundle .
As I said before both of these items are very well made and work great.

These are small light and easy to carry.
They are just a bit small for me to use comfortably. They don't open up enough. My girlfriend and kids like using them though. They are great for concerts or out in nature. Not so expensive that I'd be devastated if something happened to them. They have small front ends so aren't the best in low light. The fixed focal length means that everyone can use them regardless of how good their eyesight is. It also means there is not zoom or fancy functions.

Delivery was delayed. Product is good.
A two week projected delivery took over a month. Product fit my needs and delayed delivery only caused concern on my part.

Autofocus takes a bit of getting used to but when you do, it's very useful
I've never had autofocus binoculars before, although I remember asking in physics class all those years ago why - if prisms were always in focus - binoculars needed a focus knob. To be fair, my wife can't get used to the autofocus, but for me it means that I can lift the binoculars and immediately find what I'm looking for, instead of having to point in the right direction and then hunt the focus knob. So I catch more of these flighty birds and animals that I got the binoculars to see.I wear glasses for distance. The binoculars work well without glasses and with glasses with no need to adjust (they do move the focal distance so i can see distant but not near when looking through the binoculars). They let plenty of light in - about right for their size (the first number is the size of the front lens which is a measure of how much light gets in) - so these are fine to use at night too.Note that autofocus relies on your eyes being able to change focus (in my case, from near to middle distance). If you wear varifocal glasses (ie your eyes don't do any work) then you will either need to move the binoculars across the glasses or decide that autofocus isn't going to work for you - and go back to conventional focus knob binoculars. It isn't really "autofocus" so much as "your eyes are as auto as it gets".
