The sharpest nail clippers I have ever used. Bar none. Absolute quality, fit and finish. The nail file on the top is effective, but because of the placement, it can be awkward to get the corners of your nails. Goes through thick nails like buddah.

I didn't tell my wife about this purchase, because I figured she'd say, "You paid what, for a nail clipper?!" But now I think I'll get her one of her own for her birthday. Make no mistake, these are so much better than the almost useless junk you'll find at your local Dollar General store that you won't believe it until you try it. Those cheap ones mostly crush and break the nail, leaving a rough edge while requiring a lot of force to do so, whereas these cut cleanly and evenly with only the slightest effort. These clippers are a fine example of how a simple, mundane item that we take for granted can be greatly improved by thoughtful engineering and good manufacturing practice.

This showed up this afternoon a whole day earlier than scheduled! I had been looking at this and some other better Japanese clippers. I had largely stopped using this clipper style years ago because the cheap clippers don't work well and my nails rarely cut cleanly. My nails are thin so I had resigned myself to just using a nail file.This is a very large clipper and it is heavy. Probably scaled for one's toes, but it works perfectly well for one's hands. The cut is super clean and the built-in file is a lot like a Diamon Deb. I am very impressed at how easily this clipper works. It just cuts.Spending this kind of money is on the lavish side but this works and all of the better nail implements I have bought have lasted me decades. I suspect this one will possibly outlast me.

Amazing tool. Based just on how this thing feels I am assuming it is a buy it for life product. So easy to hold on to and so sharp that it is easy! Great tool!

Wirecutter was on the mark with their review. This nail cutter looks to be one of those "buy once, cry once" products. The build quality is solid, and the design provides better ergonomics and leverage, making each cut clean and effortless. I hope it lasts a lifetime, but even if it only holds up for ten years, it's still worth paying 2x–4x more than a drugstore clipper. If you want precision and comfort, this is the one to get.

I like this product for the price and ease of use. I like how smooth each fingernails gets clipped rather than get ripped off. One thing I wish this product is missing is the filing part. I was expecting much wider filing part but when I opened the package, I almost couldn’t find it because the filing part was so narrow. Sure, it does a job but I like more traditional wider filing part for each nail clipper. If this product has it, I would give 5 stars.

I like the size of these. I saw reviews saying they are too big but I wanted a pair that could be both fingernail and toenail. These seem to be it and seem quality. Cut nicely. I will update review if need be but feel like these are a good value.

These are by far the best clippers I've ever had occasion to use. The order took a few weeks to arrive, but it was well worth the wait.
