SPEC-D TUNING Glossy Black LED Tail Lights Compatible with 2015-2017 Volkswagen Golf GTI Models, Left + Right Pair Assembly

Pictures before and after! These fit my 2015 so nice. Install was super easy and pretty quick. I'd say fitment is about a 9/10 there are some gaps around the lights, but for the price it's fine. Overall these are probably the nicest lights I've seen for the GTI and at an affordable price. Note, car is throwing an error to check the taillights, but we will see if that goes away after some time. If you are debating on these just get them they are worth every penny.

Inner tail lights do not function at all. These were the easiest things to install on my car ! The pack again and boxing the tailights were awesome. I approve of spec-d products I hope SPEC D comes out with more stuff for theses cars if your reading this spec d sponsor me let me show your products to the gti community. These are an epic buy guys purchase them you won’t be disappointed !!

Pros:The Spec D Taillights look amazing. This is a good option for different lights, without spending $500 for euro lights. I like that its a easy plug and play and should take no longer than 30 min. It came in a black box that was nicely packaged. The taillight came with 2 resistors that plug into the taillights to make it work with the stock coding of the lights.Cons:For how much the lights cost, the material is on the cheaper side compared to the more expensive ones. There is no foam between body and the taillights. There should be specific instructions for the vehicle and a wiring diagram that shows how the taillights are wired. So if someone would prefer to code them to the vehicle, they can, instead of using the resistors. After 2 months of having the product I had a warning "check taillights" for both sides. Found that the inner set of lights were out. Checked the connections to make sure of proper contact and noticed that the resistor were scorching hot.Suggestions on improving the product:1) Coding options for no resistors2) Lower Temperature resistors (if they are needed in wiring)3) Specific instructions/wiring diagram for the vehicle4) Could add foam to reduce the chance of damage from bodyAs an overall rating. I give these taillights a 5/10

ordered these a couple months ago. first couple weeks they’re pretty good. reverse lights was very bright

They look good but even after sealing , one of them had water leaks. Even after drying it out you’ll have water stains . Leak happened again in the same light .
