Are these bright enough to see from the street if used for a window candle?

Sure, Our flickering taper candle are designed to be window candle and we also equipped with rubber sleeves in order to deal with the situation that the candlestick has a much larger caliber than the candle

Will these work with the remote that comes in the other kit?

They do not work with any kits that aren't sold with a remote. My 24 pack did not work with the remote that came with the 12pk i bought with a remote even know they are the same brand.

How long do they stay lit? Would they last 8hrs?

I put brand new Thunderbolt Edge AA batteries in one candle and set a timer to see how long it would last. Currently at 75 hours without any signs of dimming compared to the candles that are turned on and off as needed for my Halloween decorations.
