My low tech husband loves this charger. He has a thick OtterBox case on his phone. Is able to charge without removing the case! Great nit to have to plug in phone every time you charge it up now. No more replacing broken cords .

Caused hot pad when charging
When plugged into wall I laid my phone onto surface. After 30 minutes thE pad and my phone were hot to touch. I undid everything and went back to my reg charger.
