Will the cinnamon flavor oil work as well for scenting as essential oils or are they the same thing?

It will scent as well. I think it's like the essential oils but not sure if it's the same. It will give out a wonderful scent.

Does this cinnamon oil have artificial flavoring added?

I have been using LorAnn cinnamon oil 4 over 25 years. I am not sure but I think it is all natural. I start making the hard cinnamon candy in November, and finish Christmas Eve. Every1 I no starts asking in October when it is CANDY time. This is the ONLY oil I use and if u ever use it u will never try another product. Hope this helps. Happy New Year. Becky W.

Can/should this be used in coffee or other hot beverages? The powdered cinnamon does not dissolve in hot liquids like I would like.

The only ingredints listed are natural and artificial flavors - what are the rest? I need to know the type of oil and if it has sugar in it or not.

I have no answer because this was a gift for a neighbor, that gifts us with many cinnamon based sweets, as this is the only cinnamon oil they will use and there was none locally available. I am sorry to not have an answer to give. I would contact the company if no one oon here has an answer.
