Does the candle holder get hot? Is it a fire hazard?

YES it is a fire hazard. Mine caught fire in less than 20 minutes. 12” flames that had to be put out with a fire extinguisher. The table it was on is ruined with burn damage, and frankly it was terrifying. Save yourself the trouble and money and just buy an electric warmer.

Approximately how many stamps will this amount of wax make?

It depends on the size of your seal head but I used 2-3 wax beads per seal, usually 2.

Is the wax seal warmer the one pictured with the stars? Looking for this one specifically.

The one I purchased does not have stars on the warmer.

What size stamp is best for use with these beads (for sealing envelopes)?

It's flexible ... just add the number of beads needed for the size of the stamp. For my quarter-size stamps, I use 3 beads.
