How thick/sturdy are the bingo cards? Could they be laminated for classroom use?

The cards are pretty thick but thin enough that they could be laminated. The bingo chips/tiles are sturdy enough for home use, but will likely not hold up to classroom use, so you may need an alternative or replacement plan in place.

Can I buy more boards? 12 isn’t enough for my group.

I think you would need to buy a second game altogether.

Does this game come with a book?

No book. Comes with game board, bingo cards, animal cards and cardboard pieces to mark the bingo cards. Instructions included. Really nice game. My 6 yo daughter loves it.
