Excellent knife the sheath is amazing it's exactly as described and as pictured came very sharp and very packaged it needs wiped down rite away though so to all the extra oil all over it I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a very good quality blade at a great price

This knife is well crafted and of excellent quality. The fit and finish are perfect. The blade size and shape and heft are perfect for skinning large animals. It maintains its edge very well and sharpens easily. I skinned two deer before sharpening. The steel tang rear of the handle is great for crushing bone, breaking glass, cracking nuts and opening bottles.The sheath, although attractive and well made, does not fit this knife. It is 1.5" too long and 1.5 " too wide and only secures the knife when snapped, which is difficult to do, especially when wearing the knife. Amazon has leather sheaths that fit the knife perfectly (some made by Ottoza) for under 15.00.So even if you buy this knife and the appropriate sheath, you get a 200.00 dollar knife for under 100.00 dollars!

The knife and sheath come wrapped in 2 plastic type bags. They were not opened at all. They oiled the knife when manufactured. I think in Turkey. I sent one back because Amazon just threw a sticker on the company's beat up box. Amazon sent the 2nd knife in a bigger better box. I'm keeping the second one, but should have been discounted. As in "like new."

The knife is beautiful, the sheath is gorgeous, but no sharpening stone.... where in the heck would we begin to find one specifically to fit the pocket of your sheath.... give us a stone to sharpening our blade and that fits into the pocket of the sheath ..

Looking at the knife, you would expect to pay much more for it. It doesN’T have the brand written on the steel like in the photos! Almost didn’t purchase it for that reason. Came fairly sharp, the fit and finish are good. It is NOT laser etched! I got lucky with the pattern on mine. :) The ram horn looks good as well. No cracks in the metal or handle. Solid purchase, I can definitely recommend. I have not beaten on it yet, but if I have any issues. I will report back.

What I hate about most big knives you buy, once you loose the sharpness off the factory edge/sharpness, its so hard to get it razor again. This came decently sharp, so I put my own edge on the knife and it has been holding up very well. Love the knife and love the sheath. Would buy again..
