The bulkheads are conspicuous by their absence so I cannot give you an accurate or relevant computation. This sub is very eco-friendly and is completely fuel free and can dive to the depths of most standard baths. It doesn't have a nuclear licence but could potentially carry the odd bath bomb.

Can it be opened afterwards to dry?

The turret can be opened up and they can also be cleaned on the top rack of the dish washer or by using a bottle brush.
