Perfect for the el-cheapo bargain tux rental.
As tuxedo shirts go, this is absolute trash. As a musician, I've got 2 tux shirts I wear regularly (one's a Joseph A. Bank, and the other is a Geoffrey Beene), and usually two are enough for my schedule's "rotation," but I picked this one up as an inexpensive backup. Inexpensive it is; a backup it's not.First, the description says the cuffs are "convertible," but it doesn't state that there's no fold-over of the French-cuff portion, so wearing it with cufflinks looks ridiculous unless you cut off the buttons, and even then the fabric on the cuffs is so thin you can almost see your skin through it. Again -- ridiculous. The sleeve openings at the wrist are HUGE, and there are no secondary buttons up towards the elbow, so the result is that whether one buttons these or uses cuff-links, the ends of the sleeves ride up your arms because there are no secondary buttons to keep the sleeve flush with one's arms and down where it's supposed to be! This is made even worse by the extremely low-weight fabric. So, you either end up with your forearms exposed (without a jacket) or with sleeves riding up inside your jacket. Absolutely awful design. On top of that, the fabric is horrible: ultra-thin with sloppy stitching. Just cheap, cheap, cheap. Made in China, of course, where these should have been left at the harbor in a shipping container. Truly the worst quality "tuxedo" (or, really, dress shirt of any kind) that I've ever put on. Fit for a $50 tux rental shop in a seedy district of town and no better.
