The taste is ok not the best but it is a vitamin and you can smell the iron as well. It is easy to swallow and I have not had any side effects. I wanted a liquid vitamin with iron that was easy digest as well as take and not make me constipated be used of the Iron in it. I should’ve gotten it as subscribe but I wanted to try it first before I made that commitment. There’s a good quantity in there. I do not mix it with anything I just pour it in the measuring cup that came with it and swallow. I wanted to make sure I am getting all my vitamins from this. It is a brown liquid but again it is a VITAMIN! Doesn’t smell bad or taste awful. It is bland. But not as bad as the flint stones vitamins I had to ingest growing up. You just smelled the iron in those and I gagged. Great quality for your money and I plan to continue to keep taking it daily. If you did want to mix it into a drink you could easy mix it into some OJ which would help you absorb more of the iron in it.

When I tell you I never knew about iron deficiency until one day. I was reading up on things that make you depressed because I was depressed a lot and it said something about my iron could be low and my magnesium so I said let me give iron a shot so I’ve been taking this iron supplement for about two weeks now and usually time I would be feeling like giving up on life because I would feel so depressed but after taking this, and this is a true review, my depression has went away every time I drink this it’s like a miracle in this I don’t know who needs to hear this or if you’re going through something feeling depressed maybe you need to check your iron I feel so much better like I’m walking around. I’m exercising. I gained a lot of weight because I was so depressed. I didn’t even wanna get out of bed. This stuff has really given me life. I’m not even lying. You just have to try it for yourself. I take it every morning and my day and my night. I feel like a whole new woman like I’m going through a break up and I don’t feel any pain anymore. I’m going through a lot in life right now and I don’t feel anything and it was because my iron was low and I just happen to take this and I feel better no lie and I’m gonna continue taking it and I’m gonna have my doctor check my iron next week when I go, but I just started taking this on my own because I did research and it’s really helping me and if they take this from me, I think I’d cry because it’s really helping me. I didn’t even wanna look outside. I would have all the windows closed now I’m walking around the park, I could cry right now. This has been a miracle for me. I’ll tell anybody just try.

Miracle in bottle.. i have very low iron due to anemia from fibroids....this is a daily source for me or I will crash and burn and fall in deep depression and want get out of bed nor deal with any one...I'm not paid to say this but this is an essential get 2 bottles at a time....life saver

Taste was actually fine. I have always been severely iron-deficient (or, more specifically, low Ferritin levels). After being on Geritol for two weeks, my ferritin level was still only at 32. I don’t know what the baseline was when I started, but I WAS hoping it would be higher than 32 after two weeks. I’m opting for Novaferrum for a stronger dose. BUT if someone isn’t severely low and just need maintenance, I feel like Geritol would be a great choice.

Doc said I was anemic, so got this. Old ads said to take it for iron poor blood. After a week or so of taking this, I feel better. Not crazy energetic, but better. Not crazy better, but better. I felt no side effects.

EXCELLENT vitamin supplement for energy boost, etc. It's reasonably priced, and it's in liquid form, which is more readily absorbed. i am very pleased. Thank you! :O)

Taste terrible. I just drink some water right after. No side effects. Big size. Excellent quality. Helps sleep quality. Easy mixabilaty.

Liquid vitamins are pricey, but worth it in general. I bought Geritol because I knew it provides all I need, and surely this is FULL of vitamins and minerals - BECAUSE IT TASTES AWFUL! I had taken it many years ago, and did not recall the taste being so bad - almost like motor oil (I'm guessing) mixed with castor oil. I will continue to take it - with a tall glass of water at the ready for after - but won't buy it again. Just letting folks know about the taste
