Altra Furniture Storage Unit with 4 Baskets

Put this up yesterday. As usual, holes are too small. If you purchase this, I suggest you using a drill and go over the holes to ensure the screws go in properly. Also the screws have a square head. None of the drill heads I have (I have 8) fit the screw head, so I had to use the little screw driver it came with which was also a pain. The cabinet itself, when finally put together, is nice. It's cute, light weight, and functional. The drawers, although they looked to be a bit on the small side, fit my items fine. If you plan on using this for big items (I am using it as a shoe caddy for my foyer) then you probably will need the 4 or 6 drawer. The wood also came broken on one piece, but I was able to put it back together. In total, if you are looking for something that looks high end but isn't this might be okay for you. Just know it is not made of heavy wood. The wood is light and fragile but it suits my needs so I will keep it. It is also 47 bucks and others similar to this cost around 200 or more. For the value it is a good buy, it was just annoying to put together.

I read some of the reviews on this product before purchasing. I spent 35.00 on it and would say it's not worth more than that. The frame is very lightweight. This is great if you want to move it easily. Each basket holds 10 lbs, the top 15. The wood is rough, not sliver every time you touch it rough, but stained and not varnished. The gray frame looks pretty close to the picture, but it does lean toward mossy gray. The baskets are gray green as well. Depending on what your plans are, this could be a win. If you are looking for solid storage that might take a beating, I'd spend a little more on something solid.

The baskets are somewhat smaller than I expected but not too much. I really love how sturdy it is. This isn't cheap junk. It's heavy and practical.

Bought this as a Black Friday deal; had I paid "full price," it would be on its way back. Wasn't expecting a quality piece of furniture. Only needed something in which to store yarn and knitting supplies. It will work OK for that, but it's basically a piece of junk. Putting it together was the usual exercise in frustration -- some poorly drilled, badly aligned holes, etc., and the top seemed to be warped a bit, which made screwing down to the base kind of difficult. The included hex wrench is a joke. I am a small woman with small hands, and it was too itty bitty for me to use. Fortunately, I have a good hex set and was able to substitute my own wrench. The rattan baskets are poorly finished; lots of roughness. Since I store my yarn in plastic bags, it won't be that big of a deal for me, but be forewarned if you want to use the drawers for anything that might snag. Says in the instructions that the top has a weight limit of 15 pounds and the drawers have a weight limit on 10 pounds. Frankly, I think that's a bit optimistic.

This is nice for a small dresser, but just wish it were a little bigger for the cost. I also wish the baskets were white.

I put it together quite quickly although it comes with no real directions just pictures. I think it is okay for the time being but is made very cheaply.I wouldn't buy it again.

Great product; must be built. Great color and item.
