Gwenie's Pastries Pastillas de Leche (1 Pack) Filipino Milk Candy

Got some for my Filipino girlfriend, and surprisingly she loved them!! I'm not a huge fan of Ube but they definitely seemed to be good quality, even if they are a bit expensive. Definitely worth a buy if it's your first time trying/gifting these.

My mom recently came back from the Philippines with a few boxes of pastillas and I ordered these thinking that they may be just as good. At best, they are ok overall, but it's not that great of a product for me to go and buy another batch. The taste is good, albeit the texture is more drier but that's probably because it wasn't made fresh and it was shipped for a few days. For the quantity per bag and quality you get, it is not worth the expensive price. This should be priced between $3.5-4 per bag, not $7.

Delicious and (I think) pretty authentic. For the amount - it’s fairly expensive + shipping is extra. It does taste fresh and “authentic”.

...still a great product. Tastes just as I remember as a child. Only issue is it is too sweet. I think it is too sweet likely because I’m not big on sweets. So this is likely just me and not necessarily an issue with the product.

Worth it worth it worth worth it!!! I had Ube when I was a preteen and my besty is Filipino so her family would bring some in every few years. This product has the best taste that is the closest thing to the authentic candy. It is milky, smooth, and a small little crunch from the sugar granules on the outside. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE THIS IN THE 5 PACK! Im having to refrain myself from eating all of them right now and I just got them delivered. Well worth the price and wait on shipping and it did get here earlier than expected so it is perfect! Thank you to the company who made this product! I will be purchasing again!

I was looking forward to these treats, but they weren't as tasty as I'd hoped. Both the ube and plain pastillas de leche were dry and not as creamy as the ones from the Philippines. The shipping was charged per product and about as much as the product itself. They weren't shipped with an ice pack so they didn't taste fresh. I won't be ordering these again.

Taste really good. I just have a problem with the delivery though. Took so long. But overall it's so good. I will definitely buy more
