This cordage is the best of the best. Full stop.I have been using Titan’s Survivor cords for a few years now and have enjoyed the strength, durability, and convenient extras woven into the cord. For camping and hiking this is the only cord I carry. With the introduction of their 3rd generation, Type IV 750 SurvivorCord XT Titan has truly upped the bar for this type of cord.I picked up a 100’ hank of this new line in February and my 5 month review is as follows:- The 110 lb. Kevlar strand is great for use as a friction saw and is a fantastic multi-use utility line. I could spend half a day listing the things I’ve used it for.- I really like the dark green braided fishing line over the previous monofilament line they had in the previous generation of SurvivorCord, really was able to use it as dental floss after catching and filleting a nice bass caught with the cord on a pole cut from a sturdy stalk of cane using the friction saw method mentioned above.- The waxed jute does make for good tinder, when needed.- The red and white strand is useful for marking branches for orienting or an aid for tracking. The final two things I’d like to mention is that 1.) I was afraid the SurvivorCord would be a bit stiff, but found that by Titan replacing the 30 AWG wire for the Kevlar and substituting the monofilament for braided fishing line, this is actually more flexible than their previous generation SurvivorCord.2.) I am truly amazed at how well the internal strands have held up to the Sun, rain, and other elements prevalent in the tropics. Most para cord molds, breaks down because of constant sun exposure, or just plain rots out - not this stuff my friend. To test Titan’s claims, I used some strands to lash together a simple tripod that has been exposed to the conditions above continuously 24x7 for four months (at the time of this review) and I see no signs of mildew, weakening, or deterioration!Personally, I hope they can eventually braid out some other colors such as reflective orange for overt campsites, Coyote or Dessert tan, Red, and the gunmetal Gray all of which they offered in the previous generation SurvivorCord.I hope this review has contributed to helping people in their quest for the best. This cord is everything Titan claims it to be, and more. I will continue to consider this newest SurvivorCord XT as my default go-to cord.- Charles Barest

Wow!
When I didn't think that Survivor Cord could get any better, the good folks at Titan Survival came along with this product. Only marginally thicker than the original Survival Cord in diameter - comes 1000 lb. Survival Cord XT. Incredible > 1,000 lb. strength plus water resistant fire-starting waxed jute tinder strands, plus a heat resistant 150 lb. Kevlar strand (useful as a friction saw or for binding food over a fire, or for binding anything), a 25# test braided fishing line, all nicely wrapped up with a handy Velcro closure strap. Add to this Titan's lifetime warranty. you won't find anything better like it (until Titan comes out with a newer, improved version if that is even possible...) I have the original Titan paracord, the original Titan Survivor Cord and now the Titan Survivor Cord XT. This is the best ever. Should be a part of every emergency kit, "get home" bag or bug-out bag. Well worth the money when your life, or the lives of your family members, are on the line. Kudos, Titan Survival.

Better than you can ever imagine.
I wish I could give this 10 stars in every category. This is a paracord unlike any other. Most commercial paracord is not mold, mildew or UV resistant. Only Titan branded paracord and genuine military paracord is. Titán paracord are manufactured to a standard MUCH higher and stricter than even military paracord. This is a bit heavier and a tad stiffer than other paracord due to the waxed jute, Kevlar thread and fishing line contained within, but it’s definitely worth it. I tested a 3-inch section of the waxes jute for firestarting. I submerged it in water and then left for a 9 hour work shift. Came home, pulled it out of the water, shook off the excess and it lit right up like a birthday candle, albeit with quite a bit of crackling. This should be the ONLY paracord you ever buy. Simply put, it’s the very best.

Best Paracord-style cordage you will find.
I have been a user and fan of Titan’s SurvivorCord for some time now. The extra lines embedded inside the core make it the best cordage for any use that calls for paracord. But now, with their 1000 pound weight SurvivorCord XT, there is simply nothing else like it on the market. On top of the fire starter, fishing line and filament lines, this cord has the highest test strength I have ever seen. The closest thing I have is a 950 lb Kevlar cord. However, that tends to be a pain in a survival situation. The Kevlar slides, doesn’t cut or burn well, can’t use it as a fire starter, etc. Titan’s SurvivorCord beats it hands down.I work in EMS and I have to be able to trust my gear. I hate carrying five things when one will do the job. The new SurvivorCord XT is something I would trust my well-being and safety too.

SurvivorCord Helps Me To Always Be Prepared.
I use this cord for tents, wrapping knife handles, wrapping the handles of my backpacks, as zipper pulls and for flashlight lanyards. I also carry a length of it wrapped around itself just in case I need to pull a stran of line out of it as a fishing line, perimeter alert tripwire or to sew something torn up with. It's a good cord to have around for everyday use and just in case the unexpected happens. I like to be prepared. Also, I do want to thank the vender and supplier for getting me out the cord packaged well and in a timely manner.

Awesome paracord, sadly taxes are making it very expensive for the EU
I'm really happy with my purchase, and it looks strong, reliable and very well made. Have not had a chance yet to put it to test, though it has already been attached to my BOB, a roomy 3V Paratus Operator. I'd love purchasing a couple or more of them, but sadly the shipping costs from the US to the EU and the import taxes make a new purchase quite prohibitive (most of the time it doubles, even triples, the cost per product ). That being said, I'll return and update my review once I'll get the chance to test it during my summer hiking in Ardennes mountains.
