Yachee Pet Drinking Fountain with Prevent Dry-Burning Design, Clean Purified Fresh Water Dispenser for Cats and Dogs, with Additional 2 Carbon Filters,2L

Bought as a replacement water fountain for my cat. Previous was an 'AquaCube' which was a pain to take apart and clean and eventually packed up.The pump is pretty quiet, the only time you can really hear it is when there's no other noises in the night, even then it's about the same as the fridge, so not intrusive. I just use the bowl section with the water bubbling up the middle, she seems to like that. I found that the additional cone makes the water 'trickle' which you can hear so decided against that option and took it off.Looks great, quiet pump, easily taken apart and cleaned, so over all, a great product which my cat uses which is even better!The only thing that puzzles me is the carbon filter - I almost dont see the point. The water seems to bypass the filter completely and never actually comes in contact with it.

I had a host of issues with this fountain from the start. My kitten loved it, but I had to clean, reset or refill it daily from the start. Within 1 month it would stop flowing water and gurgle loudly. After 6 weeks the motor was completely dead. Waste of money and time.

Initially really liked the product, looked great and my cat was very happy with it although I must admit it is quite noisy! Unfortunately, I am unable to find the correct size filters (4.2 inches) as all the generic ones are 5 inches. I contacted the seller who confirmed they do not make or sell these and they informed me they will speak to they're devolpment team to see if this is something that can be looked at for the future. Also it does lose a lot of water around the sides which makes for a very wet floor. However I can't fault the customer service team who were happy to help and excellent with their responses. All in all, disappointed with the product itself but would use the company again.

Arrived with a broken plug. The top fork is actually snapped off. Instructions are poorly translated to English but once I’d figured it out it works great. My dog is drinking more water and I can hardly hear it. And it looks really stylish

I liked the shape, but sadly the water ran down the sides to the floor-I put it onto a tray to see how much water overflowed, and it was considerable. The motor is quiet but audible. The new one I have just bought is silent! It has to be switched on so there is water available, there is no reservoir without power.

Ordered this last week as one of my cats has been diagnosed with kidney disease. Really good quality and nice style. Just one issue - the plug was broken.I emailed the seller who responded promptly and sent a whole replacement without me having to return the faulty one. It’s arrived today. Plug in perfect working order and my cat went straight over and drank. Result!!Happy household here. Thank you

Inside the fountain is a floating ring that, when the water level isn't high enough, stops the water from being pumped up to supposedly save the motor from running dry. HOWEVER, it can be 3/4 full and still not work. Which can leave your cat without water straight after filling it up. Makes it useless and can be dangerous when the owner knows that there is water inside, can hear it pumping, but you cat isn't actually getting water!

The media could not be loaded.  The pets love it.I have a pug and two cats.It's nice looking and quiet.One small issue. It doesn't take much of a drop in water level to stop the pump circulating it to the surface as there's not a huge water capacity, so it needs keeping an eye on and regular topping-up.Otherwise it's great!! 👍
