Perfect pot for pasta

I use this just to make tea!! I love unsweetened tea. So I make a batch each week. I was disappointed when I first saw the size. I didn't realize how small 6qt was. But honestly it is perfect. I make 2 batches and pour it in my pitcher. Then the rest goes in my cup. This stockpot doesn't get used for anything else. I love it.

I just made a big pot of soup this morning and this pot worked out great. It's the perfect size and light weight. I like to have a lot of extra space in the pot to prevent spilling and splattering so it was half-filled with soup and it worked out perfectly. The batch of soup I made was 8 cups of liquid and a whole bunch of veggies so that gives you an idea of the volume. The only reason I didn't give this pot 5 stars is because the bottom is not exactly flat and there are imperfections in the ceramic coating which could lead to rusting but we'll see. The imperfections consist of rippling which is purely cosmetic but also of a few spots where the coating is not there and it's bare metal. Those bare metal spots are on the handles so they are not a big deal. Other than those issues I would recommend this pot if you want an affordable large pot for stove-top cooking.

Oh my this pot is so cute! I love the size I chose it’s perfect for not making too much food, this is a problem for me coming from a large family, I had to cook for 6 people. This pot is deep inside and will allow you to make stews soups and all kinds of dishes and it will help me to scale down and learn to cook for two ! That’s what I will call this pot, the cook for 2 pot! 😀Love it ! Good price ! Will definitely buy another one! P.s. I am sure you can cook for more than two with this pot! But I eat healthy portions!😂

I am very disappointed. this is definitely not 6 quart size. It will work ok as a chamber pot or possibly a flower pot. I have a 4qt rice cooker that has a larger pot. Io did not measure in this thing because I knew immediately it was going back. didn't want to send ir wet.

I really love the look and size of this pot but I think I'm still learning some things when it comes to what I cook in. I made hamburger soup in it but I notice the food on the bottom burns and sticks quickly so you have to constantly stir. I am assuming it's because the bottom is not thick? This would be great for water bath canning so I can use it for canning when I can using small jars, but as far as sauteing or letting something simmer I don't feel like it works well for me. I want to add that it seems durable and the size I purchased was 6 qt. Again, love the size and look and I needed a quick replacement.
