Outstanding Lions Main I loved it
I did purchase this Lions main and talk about it would mean to tell you what I saw and smelled and tasted. The Lions Main come in several days and a large plastic see through bag. Lions Main is white and the large size of cauliflower and tastes sweet. The lions main is proven to be great brain food and can be eaten in salad or cooked and I love it dried and eaten raw. It is sweet to the taste and will not mess with diabetes. There are many ways to consume the Lions Main but I had it in salads, made tincture for brain health reasons. Lions Main is a very healthy snack and will do you brain good. I would highly recommend Lions Main to anybody that wants to benefit from the Lions main goodness. Please Google or research how great Lions main is for you. The Grinch

Great value
I've grown these many times for brain fog from health issues, and it takes a couple months to grow some, plus the kits cost like $35 each, and I can't grow them as nice as these. These are grown to peak maturity and perfectly dried/cured. It's cheaper to buy these than grow them too. I use a very sharp knife and thinly slice, then finely mince a couple tablespoons, or use my cheese microplane and add it to my morning esspresso brew. When I skip my lions mane, it's a rough day. These are great medicine.

Great condition without excessive packaging
These are lovely whole dried lion’s mane shrooms, with a minimum of plastic packaging. Amazon- please use more of your compostable paper mailers and boxes! Thanks!

Only one moldy mushroom, and bugs after long storage
Advice, use these quickly if possible. I stored my second purchase for a year in my basement and they area complete loss. I won't lower my rating because it's not their fault. The bags were still sealed and in the box. Learned my lesson 🤣 funny thing is the ones from my previous order that were opened and then tied closed weren't infested. So maybe it was just a buggier batch this last time. I'm not an expert, so maybe this is normal. But I was disappointed to find a moldy mushroom in my newly opened bag of dried mushrooms. Also a few were really soft compared with the other bone dry hard mushrooms. Again, maybe I'm concerned for nothing, but at least most seemed perfect.

Excellent!
My first purchase was good, my second purchase was perfect! Some people don't know anything about medicinal mushrooms, they see a little bit of mold or discoloration and think the product is no good, this is far from true, it's quite normal for this variety. The bitter taste is actually the medicinal compounds, the Triterpenoids. Reishi is particularly bitter, lion's mane not so much, but the bitterness can still be tasted. I do not reccomend eating these mushrooms, especially once they have been dried, a tincture is the best way. I can tell that my second purchase was picked at its peak, and thoroughly dried, when I put the mushrooms in my coffee grinder it turned into powder effortlessly, un like the last batch which was somewhat fibrous.
