Well worth the $$$
I purchased this foundation for a new memory foam mattress. I read every review and was a little worried about warped boards, missing screws, wood quality etc, but still believed it was the best product for the price and took the chance. I am so glad I didn't let the negative reviews stop me. I had this put together, working alone, from box to bed frame, in 30-40 minutes tops. It was easy to put together, all parts were included, no boards were warped, and I didn't get one splinter! As for the quality of the wood... I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but it seems to be solid boards, slightly finished, with no splitting and once assembled is very sturdy. The included cover is good quality as well.

I agree with the reviewer who said it would be better to build it yourself
The wood is junk, the slats are way too far apart. I had to buy additional wood to fill the gaps. The "beams" were so warped the assembly was very difficult. I agree with the reviewer who said it would be better to build it yourself. If I had built it, I would have used a square (yes, some of the pieces were not cut at 90 deg.) I would have returned it except for the fact that I have a new mattress coming in 2 days. The one star is for the nice ratcheting wrench that came with it.

What you see isn't what you get
Contrary to what's described, this product is not constructed of spruce but rather common pine. I'm not sure the substitution is significant, but it certainly reflects unfavorably upon the seller. As for construction, minimal effort was made to smooth cuts and drill holes. That said, the frame went together well (i.e. the components meshed) and once assembled, seemed sturdy enough. As others have mentioned, only three of the slats are affixed to the frame. If you decide to screw the others in, pre-drill the holes otherwise the pine will split. The cover fit well and seems relatively durable. Bottom line, the product performs the job, although at what I suspect is a somewhat inflated price.

Very Easy to Assemble
I assembled this thing in less than 20 minutes and it works well. A very good solution for what we needed.

Awesome
It's difficult to get too excited about a mattress boxspring, but I was really happy with this purchase. I ordered this full size box spring because our standard full wouldn't fit up the stairs into our 3rd floor bedroom. It's also difficult to find split full boxsprings, and they are generally much more expensive. The unit shipped REALLY fast (we got it 2 days after ordering), it was easy to put together, came with a very nice ratcheting wrench which I will reuse, is made in USA, nice cover, 5 minutes to assemble. etc etc. I'm really happy with this purchase. Will definitely buy again if in this situation.

Perfect for college
My son and his friends rent a small, older home in a college town. His regular full size box springs would not fit up the narrow stairs to the second floor, and ended up getting damaged in process of trying to make it fit. We were happy to find this bed frame so he would not have to put his memory foam mattress on the floor. This frame works just great. Also, it will be more compact/ easier to store than box springs after he graduates.

Only got the bed slats in the mail- looks pretty cheap.
I ordered this and received a box that was a lot smaller than what I was expecting. Well, that's because all that was in it were the bed slats- no base or frame pieces. This looked like a bunch of .5" x 2" pieces of wood held together by two polyester ribbons stapled down each end of each piece of wood. I could do this for a lot less buying wood from a local big box store. One star because not only did the order arrive incomplete, but what did arrive looked to be made of pretty inexpensive stuff.

you get what you pay for
The product works, and is relatively easy to assemble. However, I received it with a few bent pieces of wood. It seems like the quality control isn't fantastic.See the image linked below for the worst piece. I was able to get it together, but it didn't immediately give me a great deal of confidence.http://i.imgur.com/GugDe7W.jpg
