Goldie Hawn comedies of the 80's were a pure delight and she did them best. These are the type of movies that are light, smiling, easy story lines and just funny with no excuses. She is one of the best comedic actors . . .perfect laugh timing, light-hearted, so darling & a joy to watch! This is a simple funny movie that will make you feel better and fall in love with Goldie Hawn. She will always be remembered!!! Delivered on time and in perfect condition (and it fills my screen like a lot of the movies from the 70's & 80's . . .so very grateful - so tired of the newer ones with wide screen that don't work on my DVD machine). DVD in perfect shape and played well & was delivered on time.

This movie is classic and inspiring. Goldie Hawn's character arc is captivating as she sways between being a dependent woman to an independent woman.

Had this on VHS from many years ago. Had to get the DVD since a family member took my original. Enjoyed watching this.

it was not what I was expecting as there were a lot of sexual scenes in this movie. I much preferred her movie "when death becomes her" also.. made with Goldie Hawn

A sort of coming-of-age movie where a woman finally gets to change her life's planned course and find adventure, satisfaction, and friends.

This hilarious movie is one of Goldie Hawn's best. As the daughter of rich parents, and very entitled, she has no sense of self so she marries the man her parents approve of, only to have him die on their first night together. Depressed and lost, she sees an Army recruitment ad. When she arrives at camp, she finds this Army is nothing like the recruiter had told her. As she is about to leave the Army, she realizes she doesn't want to go back to her old life. Although this is an older movie, it still shows what women face.

What can I say, excellent film and a brilliant copy. So funny

Un film à recommander à tous ceux qui ont découvert ce gentil petit film dans les années 80, et À tous les fans de Goldie Hawn. Évidemment ce n’est pas le film du siècle mais on rigole bien et on passe un bon moment avec cette comédie dynamique et amusante . Pas facile à trouver à part sur Amazon, ce DVD dont l’image est plus que correcte, offre bel et bien une version en français si vous le souhaitez. Bref, un must have pour les amoureux de cette période et de ces fameuses comédies romantiques. Nous sommes ravis de notre achat.
