I was worried about how much noise this fan would make, so went for a PSU with a bit more power than required. If the PSU is not being used to full capacity, then it will reduce the fan speed by a bit. A little pricey compared to other fans but better value than the going market rate in comparable shops. You get what you pay for in PC fans and this is made to a very high quality. The first time, I have ever installed a PSU that fitted in first time, without having to add or modify any of the power connectors. This PSU has all all the power connectors that you will ever need for old and new PCs.

I bought the 500W version of this PSU to replace a Corsair CX550M which was perfectly fine but was definitely the loudest component in my system. I was expecting the sound level to drop when I installed this, but the difference was truly remarkable. It is virtually silent now when under low load, which is the most critical time when I want the least noise (when watching videos or working quietly). I have a Noctua U12 air cooler on a Ryzen 2600X and an EVGA FTW2 1070 Ti along with three NZXT case fans and I can barely tell the system is running now when it's idle. If you want a silent or near-silent PSU then this certainly ticks the boxes. The PSU itself is semi-modular, and at least on the 500W model (and up I presume) the pair of 8 pin power cables for the GPU are separate (instead of one cable that splits into two connectors like some power supplies). Mine came with a Euro plug in the box, so you may want to ensure you have a UK lead handy if you're buying this in the UK.

This modular BeQuiet PSU offers best quality for the money. The flexible plug-ins cables are very clever and easy to use. It allow to install only necessary cables making the whole case more free for necessary modules. THe PSU is very quite and works very stably as always BeQuite. The only one thing missing is more cables with SATA power plugs instead old Molex plugs.

Excellent power supply for low end computers, easy installation. However only came with European power 2 pin lead, make sure you have UK lead ready. Hence I dropped a star.

Fine after 24 hours so far too early to confirm longevity. Mine came with both UK and European power leads; more for the pile! Very quiet as name suggests, and solved my "Windows sleep" problem as - unlike previous Corsair VS PSU - it does support Intel C6 power mode.

My system is so quiet you'd think it wasn't on if the lights didn't give it away, this power supply is highly rated and worth the little bit of extra cash. It's called be quiet and it truly is.

Image on product clearly shows 5 power cables, mine came with 3! The graphics power is now a 2 in 1 cable, so hopefully the cable is going to reach your second graphics card and I am missing a sata power cable. I need to have this pc up and running for work, so I cannot return the item and get a replacement in a few days. Luckily I had a sata power splitter so I have enough power connections for all of my devices, if not I would have struggled. Not happy! It also came with an EU mains 2 pin plug, not a UK power plug.
