Works best on 75 gpd membranes
This 550 size, used on 75 gpd membranes, seems to deliver more pure water per hour than any other. It doesn't fit the charts but it works best, IMHO.

RO Flow restrictor
Seems well made. Restricts the flow, so the 75gpd RO filter can work properly

Easy Swap
I had upgraded my RODI, when it supplied a salt water tank, but it tended to run on with the size recommended. No longer keeping a marine tank, and having my largest aquarium develop a crack, I no longer needed 150gpd, so I down sized to the RODI's original output. This was part of that change, working better than I expected, I can barely tell the RODI is operating. With out the run on, my life is a little easier, and I hope my water bill will be a little lower.

Well made ,make no noise !
If you are looking for flow restrictor for your RO system, just get this brand. I ordered two other brands both come with 2 restictors they made very loud noise while my old original parts was very quiet. This one makes no noise just like the original one, half the price with much faster shipping. How could you not love this little parts! Highly recommend.

Get the correct size from the manufacturer
The flow restriction values that are given here and elsewhere are not set in stone. It is best to size your restrictor by referring to the actual ml/min spec that corresponds to your specific membrane unit. Also there is quite a bit of wiggle room for each membrane size. Best to get a restrictor number from the manufacturer, since a wide variety will work. Restrictor size will affect water production and waste water amounts. The only reason to replace a restrictor is if it becomes clogged. This restrictor style is easy to remove and replace. Remove any existing capillary restrictors if fitted.
