Drake Off Road JP-180013-BK Black Shift Knob for Jeep JK

Works great and gives the Jeep a nice custom look. Installation was easy but fits a little loose around the shaft of the shifter. I was able to fix this by wrapping some electrical tape around the shaft of the shifter. Now it fits like a glove.Also, on hot summer days this thing gets hot when your Jeep is sitting in the sun. I have to use my Jedi grip to not touch the metal parts to shift the Jeep. Though it quickly cools off once the AC is on.Overall, a great upgrade to the Jeep.

Looks so much better than oem handle shifts easily installed in minutes .2007 Jeep Wrangler holes lined right up have to use original screw which is silver but I just painted head black to match.

Once I screwed the knob in place I could shift the gears but when I put it in park I could not remove the key from the ignition. After unscrewing it and letting it sit atop the shifter I was then able to remove the key.I thought the piece was defective and ordered a new one.The new one would not shift into gear! It appears that the button on the knob doesn’t allow the rod to rise high enough to unlock the gear. Recap: the first one would engage far enough down to release the gears and not remove the key and the second would not push the rod down far enough to shift into gear.If I let the knob sit on the shifter without screwing it in, it works beautifully.

Easy install for a cool, unique look. Others have commented how cool they look. They really complete the feel. The tread is rubber for grip and the button makes for much quicker shifting.

Everything I expected, high quality, easy install, great look and smooth to shift with this hand arrangement compared to stock. I wish my wife would let me install in her jeep too. Just need to let her try it and I'm sure she will like it!

I love it! I used a small piece of velcro to keep it from being loose and it's just perfect!

Great sturdy shift knob. Was a weird change at first, but I’m glad I made the choice.

Beautifully made. Looks very extensive and feels great. Definitely a nice interior upgrade. Matches pattern of my mats and that was done on purpose! Would recommend.
