Could be better on everything but overall product.
Going to give this a 3 star for overall. If I were just to discuss the knob itself, no installation, no removal of old knob, complete lack of instructions for either, it would be a solid 4.5 stars, possibly 5.To begin with, instructions. There are none. Not even a diagram. I went to youtube, did not find anything specific to my type of Jeep. JK 2011 Sahara. I read bits and pieces about some of it.Here are an abbreviated form of instructions, minus any pictures. And then what I think you could do minus some of what I'm going to talk about.Take a flat head screw driver, and put it between the two plastic parts of the bottom of the shift knob, twist, this should drop the bottom plastic piece that is just there for show. There is the plastic/rubber part of the knob, it slides down as well. You can either choose to use the screw driver to pry it down, or just use your hand. From there, many instructions say to just pull off the hard plastic knob. I do not recommend this, and this is bad form. Instead, get a pair of groove joint pliers and a mallet/hammer. Place the pliers on the bottom part of the hard plastic shift knob. Use the hammer/mallet to tap/pound off the actual shift knob. It's possible, but I didn't try it, where you could just use the pliers to pound off the knob without actually lowering any of the rubber parts of the shift knob. Here's where even a diagram would be nice. On the Drake knob, if you look inside, you'll see some discoloration towards the top, and if you examine it closely enough, you'll see that the discoloration on the inside/side of the 2/4/6/R of the knob. This is actually a hole/screw for securing the knob on to the shift rod.My recommendation at this point is to pull the rubber "tire" off the drake knob. Put the rubber tire on the shift rod. From here what you'll actually do is place the shift knob on to the shift rod, grab a 10 ( although I got slippage when I tightened, so a 12 might be closer to the truth ) torx screw, and tighten the knob on to your shift rod. Once this is done, pull the rubber "tire" up and back in to place where the shift knob is actually secured.Overall, good feel, craftsmanship appears to be solid, but then again, it's billet aluminum, how difficult can it be...but instructions are completely lacking and what drive down the stars on my overall.

It's a nice replacement knob
It's a nice replacement knob. Fit is slightly loose before the set screw is tightened. I wish it was little more snug around the shaft, Beavis. I used a combination of a small amount of epoxy and the set screw to hold it in place. Looks good and solid feel.

Exactly what I wanted. It can be a little tough getting the original off, but if you are not worried about saving it for future use just take a pipe wrench, turn it a quarter turn and then pull it off. You can find directions on Youtube to do it, and if you have a strap wrench you could save the original knob.

Great feel and grip!
I love the feel to this. Ha! It gets pretty cold when it's cold out, but just another thing makes me love my jeep!

Great!!!
I just got it and put it on. Which brings me to the only bad thing i can say. Getting the old one off was the worst. (NOT THE PRODUCTS FAULT) but once i did this one went on really easy! Going to order the whole set!
