Oatmeal Waterless Shampoo

I absolutely love this waterless shampoo!! it’s been a total game-changer for keeping my three senior rescue dogs fresh and clean between their professional grooming sessions. I have two white dogs who get especially messy from their wet food (as they have very few teeth left), and this stuff makes it so easy to clean up without a full bath. The oatmeal formula smells wonderfully natural and clean, and the calming/lavender-chamomile scent is super soothing. Both are subtle but pleasant, and don’t overpower you like some other options I have tried. Applying it is a breeze: a couple pumps, massage it into their coat, towel dry, brush & done. Using this has saved my pups a lot of anxiety (and me a lot of stress), especially because bath time can be rough for these guys. I’d highly recommend it for in-between grooming to anyone with dogs. While it’s not a substitute for a full bath, but it’s perfect for maintenance and freshness in between. My products have not leaked and arrived in perfect condition.

It has a great freshness of scent and leaves my dog feeling clean. He bathes regularly outside in the summer but in the winter not so much. This leaves him feeling very clean and smelling wonderful. He doesn’t mind me doing it at all. Easy to apply does not irritate his skin. Good bottle size, good sturdy nozzle.

I really love this product. Honestly the smell is refreshing and “clean”, I just wished it lasted more. But other than that, its great. I really like how this brand has different variations of the shampoo, so you can purchase what exactly your dog needs. The only other thing I feel should be changed/added by the company, is more of a combination product. Like my dog needs this one because its the Oatmeal Formula- Beneficial for dry skin/dandruff & just general itch relief. But my dog also has a very bad shedding problem… so it would be nice to have a combo product. Because buying two different shampoos just makes it more of a hassle & more expensive. But other than that, great product. No alcohol makes it worthy of a purchase in my book !

My dog had a major surgery and couldn’t have a bath for a very long time. She also has very sensitive and dry skin, allergies, and is prone to dandruff. I couldn’t stand not being able to bathe her at all for so long, so I tried this, especially since it has oatmeal and claims to be formulated for sensitive skin. This stuff is seriously a miracle product. I add a pump or two to my hand, then rub it into her fur in sections in a circular motion until it is just about dry. Then I use her brush to brush out the loosened dirt, dead/dry skin, and oils. It was amazing how much came off, and the shampoo left a really pleasant but not overwhelming smell. It’s like the shampoo almost causes flakey dead skin and oils to soften and then kind of clump together, which was then easy to brush out. So it did wonders for her skin problems. I will say she has short fur, so I’m not sure how effective/easy this would be to use on a long-haired dog.

I have tried so many waterless dog shampoos and this one is my very favorite brand. Almost tied with this one is the Arm&Hammer waterless shampoo. These two both perform beautifully, but I just like the smell of this WAHL brand more. Sometimes if I need to really clean the dogs, but don’t have time to bath them, I’ll use the Arm&Hammer waterless shampoo and remove, then use this WAHL waterless shampoo directly after. Seems to work very well. I definitely recommend this WAHL brand over TropiClean waterless shampoo because I the TropiClean brand is so difficult to work into the fur, you end up using half the bottle for one dog, and it doesn’t seem to clean the fur very much. This WAHL brand is super easy to work into the fur and remove when done. I use this on our Australian Cattle dog and our miniature schnauzer, and it works beautifully on both dogs (Fur and Hypoallergenic hair)! I use it in between their full baths to keep them fresh. It’s also really nice if the dogs get into something and you need to clean them real quick, but don’t have time to give them a bath. I just pump the waterless solution in a line down their backs, then use my hands or a silicone doggy bath brush to work into their fur. Then I use paper towels to remove it from their fur. Using a towel would probably be better, but I’m usually in a hurry and just grab paper towels. I use this product almost everyday after my dogs come home from daycare smelling gross. So using paper towels is nice because they get pretty dirty and I don’t have to worry about washing towels for how much I use this product. This WAHL waterless shampoo is awesome because you only use a little bit and it lathers so easily and my dogs actually feel remarkably clean after using it!! I prefer the lavender scented one of this brand, but the coconut is also very nice…just personal preference.

I’ve been using this since I first got my dog six years ago, and it’s truly my secret weapon. The scent is amazing — every time someone pets my dog, they always comment on how good he smells and how he never has that typical “dog smell.” It’s perfect for freshening up in between baths and has really helped me stretch the time between grooming appointments. Even my groomer approves! She said she wishes more people would use something like this to keep up with bath routines. It’s also anti-itch and super gentle — my dog has very sensitive skin, and he’s never had a single reaction. Recently, after moving, my dog started getting redness on his paws from the treated grass in our new area. I tried everything for a month with no luck until I remembered this product hiding in the closet. I started using it after walks, and the redness disappeared completely — no more licking or gnawing at his paws! This will forever be a repurchase for me. It doesn’t replace regular baths or grooming, but it’s amazing for in-between maintenance. Highly recommend to any dog parent who wants their pup smelling fresh, feeling comfortable, and looking well cared for! I have not had any leakage problems. There are a couple ways I’ve applied this, I’ve used my hands and rubbed onto my dog or, I really enjoy using those extra microfiber rags I never used. There is no residue left behind when I’ve used my hands, actually, my hands feel pretty clean after using this 🤣

This is extremely easy to use. I used one pump for each section (back, left side, right side, chest, neck) of my 18lbs dachshunds and spread/follow-up with a few strokes of the Bodhi Dog Grooming Pet Shampoo Brush...

Love how this smells, cleans my pup and makes his fur so silky soft.
