The Walking Dead TV Series 4 Dixon Brother Action Figure Playset, 2-Pack

For anyone who missed grabbing a Daryl Dixon figure from the series 1 release, this is a great and affordable way to get the figure. You won't be able to find a series 1 Daryl figure for under $150 at this point so this is a great buy. The series 1 release of Daryl came with squirrels that he had hunted for dinner, this 2-pack does not come with those as he did in series 1, but he does come with prison keys. That is the only difference from the series 1 Daryl to this Daryl in this 2-pack. Also, the paints apps are much improved over the series 1 Daryl who had some pretty sloppy paint apps. McFarlane seems to have rectified that problem this time around. Also, I really like how slim the box is for this 2 pack, only about 2 inches thick which is great as most manufacturers tend to make obscenely large boxes and this takes up very little room. The only difference from the series 3 Merle to this 2-pack Merle is the color of his shirt. The single issue series 3 Merle has a white shirt, this Dixon Bros 2-pack has Merle in his black shirt. Other than that, the accessories and figure are the same. The box art, the presentation all looks very nice. I am now looking forward to the new Daryl Dixon and Motorcycle boxed set coming out in March of 2014 even more so after seeing the great job McFarlane did with this box set. For anyone who already got the series 1 Daryl and series 3 Merle, you may want to skip on this if you can't find it for under $30 as you aren't getting anything too exclusive other than some prison keys and a different colored shirt for Merle. For hardcore collectors or anyone who missed out on getting Daryl can now finally get him at a reasonable price.

Bought this as a gift. Placed the order in May of 2013.Just received it a couple weeks ago. The product looks good and should please the Walking dead fan I bought it for. The likeness is very good and is packaged very well. One issue was the seller charged my account months ago with no explanation of why and then showed product shipped out. When contacted seller they simply stated Amazon would not let them do anything else, not sure their reasoning for that, but their advice , get my money back and no product.I said No, will wait if I have to just wanted a explanation. So now after all this time I finally got the product. Not sure if others had the same issue or not, but just in case others deal with these folks they know in case it happens to them . They fulfilled the deal and that is all that matters in the end. Great Looking Figures.

the sculpting is great, specially Merle's, who looks a lot like Michael Rooker (Daryl's good too). The paint job is great. Maybe the figures fail a bit in the poseability department, but that's ok because these are not toys, so if you pose them as you like and leave them in their shelf. This isn't a defect, the articulations are a bit hard to move, and they are sculpted a certain way, so there are only a number of ways you can pose them. If you want them as toys, I guess you can do that too, but then follow the age requirements if you're getting them for a kid, since there really are quite a few small parts (also, there's a strong possibility of them braking because, again, there are thin and small parts, including the fingers).

My complaints are the typical. Odd pose if Daryl isn't holding something, the likeness leaves some to be desired. Regardless, I still really like how it came out. He aims the crossbow VERY well. Unlike many, he also feels very durable. Merle, it's basically the zombie version but repainted. Likeness is damn near spot on, articulation is good (aside from the ball jointed hips) and he looked awesome out of the box. Although mine had a bit of paint missing, I touched it up. Even made it a little better. If you're a dedicated fan like I am, it's a good buy. (Plus that axe can be given to Rick or Dale [when he comes out later this year])

The item was exactly as described, I bought this item for him knowing he would take it out of the package, he is eight and a huge walking dead fan, as is everyone in our family. But the first thing I thought when he opened it was it's going to break, and he is going to lose all the pieces, because these are not supposed to be played with in my opinion. But it's been over a week now and they are holding up great, and he plays very rough with his toys. They are very durable, and even though the pieces are small, their is places to hold most of the items on the characters. It was very fast shipping! And of course it was his favorite gift for his birthday! I would highly recommend this product!

Absolutely love it! Daryl is my favorite character & this is 1 of 2 I bought to start my Walking Dead memorabilia collection. There is a small nick however on the face of the box. I think it just got caught on something when being packed up. I wouldn't say it diminishes value because its so small of a chip. Probably the size of the tip of a 5 year olds pinky nail. Box itself was clean & undamaged besides that! I love looking at this one & the other one I bought, 100% satisfied!

I just got the dixon bros in the mail today and i was really suprised. the figures are amazing my only problems are daryls stubby arms and daryls not able to hold the axe or the pickaxe properly hands are too big. When i opened it and tried to take out Daryl he split in 2 pieces but was easily fit back together with its ball thing i dont know what they are called. no complaints with merle haven't gotten this box set yet? Get it totally worth your money.
