Smaller than I anticipated however perfect for what I'm actually using it for. I put my lunch and daily items that I carry back and forth from work. Not sure this would fit many grocery items.

Who makes a cotton bag that can't be washed?
Perfect! Uhm... If you never intend to really use it. When I went to wash the bag, I looked at the instructions because the design felt sort of odd and tacky -- like it was just a thin layer of plastic on the surface. It said it wasn't intended to be washed and that washing it would ruin it. What's the point of a cloth bag that can't be laundered? I'm super annoyed that I paid almost $13 for this. Useless.

This bag is very durable and just as the description states! It can hold library books with no problems. My son uses it for school work. It fits over his shoulder nicely. I would definitely buy more bags from this company!
