Sturdy and Durable
I want to first start with the customer service. I first recieved a damaged bag. You can tell by the way the box was damaged that it was damaged during shipping. I messaged the seller and within minutes I had a reply. I sent them a few pictures of the deformed bag and of the box. Right away they told me they would send me a replacement. I recieved the replacement within two days of messaging them. By far the best customer service I have ever dealt with. 5 stars!! Now let’s review the bag itself. I have a wavemaster in the yard. The wave master is very bulky and even when filled with water it moves around a lot. I had purchased a heavy bag but the space I am using in the basement is very small and with low ceilings. This bag was perfect for the space! It has the perfect size and height. The suction cups on the bottom are amazing! It didn’t work on the gym mat, but I cut a hole out and the suction cups hold it pretty steady on tile. It was able to take strong kicks and punches without moving from its place. I was extremely impressed. I filled the base with sand. It took 2 60lb bags of play sand. The sand gave it a more stable foundation. The sand plus the suction cup, the bag is not moving no matter how hard you strike it. Only thing was the size funnel I had made it a tad difficult to get the sand in quickly. It took me about 20 minutes to get it in. Which is not bad for the sturdiest portable bag. Putting the base together with the bag was the simplest part. The easiest and fastest installation. It was very straightforward and the one tool needed was provided. I give this item 5 stars. I would highly recommend purchasing it. The price is also low in comparison to other products that do the job. You can’t beat the price, the customer service, and the quality of the bag. Don’t waste another second debating it!! Make your purchase!

Wonderful
I am so glad I purchased this punching bag. It’s a great way to vent your frustrations and get in a workout. It’s a lot of fun and it’s something you WANT to do so it doesn’t take much motivation to get up and go hit your bag. I look forward to going home and being able to release my stress and frustrations. I didn’t need any additional tools to put it together either. I can’t wait to go home and punch my bag :)

Great product. Needs care with delivery.
Easy to set up and worked perfectly for our needs. Only disappointed by the delivery. The package appears to have been dropped, which resulted in bent metal where the bag connects to the base. I was still able to attach it but one screw does not fit right.

It's a good bag for the money, but different than a full size bag
Summary: I'm not a prize fighter by any means. I'm just a guy that likes to hit the bag for exercise. Overall, this is a good bag that looks to be very durable. I hit the bag pretty hard, and it seems like it will last. It took some time to assemble, but they give you everything you need except sand. I have a smooth floor, but it's concrete and probably not the best surface for suction cups to attach. However, they do attach somewhat. I am used to hitting a 100 pound hanging bag which has a wider diameter. This bag is narrower and you have to hit it more carefully so you don't bend and injure your wrists. I recommend this bag for exercise. Since I'm not training to actually fight, I can't speak to how good it is for that application. Details: -You will need DRY sand. I got mine at Home Depot near the bags of concrete - don't get it from the nursery because that's wet sand you'll never get it into the base. I put about 140 pounds of sand in the base. -Get a good funnel that has a wide opening on the top and bottom. The bigger the openings, the faster the sand filling will go. It's a pain, but necessary. -This bag is ideal if you have smooth floors for the suction cups, unless you're not a hard hitter. Even with the suction cups sorta working on my floor, I can still knock the bag over. -The bag itself is harder/firmer than I expected. You'll need decent gloves. I have some worn 14oz gloves that work ok. I haven't tried my 8oz MMA gloves, but they should be ok.

Holds up well to use
Very sturdy, suction cups on ceramic tile work well to secure unit

Great fun!
This works perfectly for me, a 125-pound, active 70+ year old woman who just wants a fun workout when I’m not at the gym. It really is easy to set up, I did it by myself! The instructions were simple to follow and included a wrench for the bolts! The most difficult parts for me were finding a place in the basement, (because I knew I wouldn’t move it once it was filled with sand), and making sure the bolts were as tight as possible, and then some. Having used the bag several times now I can see how it may not be sturdy enough for a larger person or some serious training, it does wobble a bit on the suction cups. What I would have done differently is fill the base with as much sand as it would take, (100 pounds), and wait a few days for the sand to settle then add as much more as I could.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now. It’s quality is superb, especially for the small price in comparison to other competitors. I’ve been using it outside, and have used a heavy duty bin bag to protect the leather of the punching bag- which I’m sure is weather proof anyways. The customer service is brilliant, I had a small issue with the product when I first received it, however customer service have sorted out the minor problem both efficiently and politely. A perfect addition to any outdoor gym- would defiantly recommend! ————— UPDATE: ————— It’s been a year since I’ve owned this and I’ve been using it about 4-5 times a week on average. It has withstood thousands of punches and is still standing. Yes, the condition of the bag is rough, and it’s pretty much falling apart, but I want to share with you some really key tips on how to avoid this! - Cover the Punch bag with a heavy duty bin bag when not in use! This will protect it from rain and prolonged the leather of the punchbag. - fill up the base with Play sand and NOT builders sand. This will prevent yellow tinted leaks onto your patio. Also, don’t fill it with both sand and water, as this will become a mess overtime, chose either or. - if using in the garden, don’t attach the suction cups to the base. When being punched around, the suction cups will pierce the plastic base and cause leakage, especially if water is in the base. Only use on wooden/tile flooring! - make sure to fill up the whole base, sand is heavier (so I would recommend using this instead). This will prevent the punch bag from falling over and, overtime, damaging the leather and freestanding ability. ——- Don’t get me wrong, I still stick by my initial review one year ago, just thought I would share these key points! Thank you for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful :)

Got this for my personal gym in my basement. Its a great addition and a lot of fun. I use this for warm up and its great for burning off excess energy. Not having to hang a punching bag on the ceiling is a great advantage to having one of these around. As an added bonus, you can always move it around to a better location with ease. The base itself is solid and has some decent weight after being filled and on top of that there are suction cups to keep it in place too just make sure you have tile or finished wood flooring. The bag is installed on top of 4 shock absorbing spring so you can put a lot of force on the bag without falling over. I punched it as hard as I could and it didn't move an inch. I also tried kicks but didn't go too crazy on it and it held up pretty well. In terms of quality of construction and material. The base is decently made out of a hard plastic and the walls are thick enough to contain sand without any leaks. I believe water works too but haven't tried that personally. The shock absorber looks well designed and the metal plate that sandwiches the springs to the base looks like something that will stand the test of time. But most importantly I think the leather needs to hold up because its where most of the wear and tear will be. I can't say how well because I've only used it for a week but I feel confident because of how well the other parts of the punching bag are made. Absolutely recommended for any athlete or anyone looking to get some excercise done while having a blast.

I read a lot of the reviews about these bags before I took the plunge on this one. I am really happy with it, I will give some context to the review to help understand my use of it. Firstly I use it to exercise and for fitness not to become the next heavyweight champ. I am a 5ft 10 male and 13 stone. The bag was easy to put together first of all, the only annoying thing was emptying the sand into the small hole, but you can use a funnel if you have one, I made my own out of a 2 litre pop bottle cut in half (lid was in the hole and the rest was used to pour into). I used 3 x 25kg bags of play sand bought from wicked for around £4.50 a bag. The product itself once built is sturdier than I expected, I am using it on a garage concrete floor, which is uneven, so the suckers are no use to me, but I have them on anyway. Even without the suckers and just filled with the sand, it stands up to 97% of my punches, there is the odd power one or combo that will rock it to nearly over but I have it positioned in the garage so that it can’t fall and also I can just grab it as it’s rocking. So to date it has never fully fallen over. It is a great bag and I really enjoy using it, it hasn’t got any marks or damage to the bag itself after 3 months of use, so very happy with it. And I would highly recommend to anyone!

Been pleasantly impressed by this unit. I only weigh 10 stone but even without the suction pads this unit is very hard to tip over, with the suction pads it's pretty much solid. You do need to make sure the pads and ground it sits on are very clean or they simply won't stick, standard though. The bag itself is quite hard and gives really good feedback to strikes. It feels very durable though I did tape up the seams prior to using just for added strength. It is hard enough though that you need to be pretty accurate with your strikes - I've clipped the bag a few times and hurt my wrist as a result, though I use MMA gloves so not as much wrist support as boxing gloves. The 4 springs at the base of the bag seem to do an excellent job. The bag doesn't swing as much as I might expect from a free standing unit, though I would advise checking the tightness on the bolts as after a few uses I noticed a couple of the bolts were lose. Applied some thread locker to the bolts and retightened. For the bolts that attach the bag to the base, the manual recommends to use a torque wrench but doesn't specify a torque.. I've tightened mine to 5-7nm and that seems to work well. Filling the bag up is also fairly easy with a nice wide hole, approx 37mm, and a funnel. Initially filled it with water but the sloshing around causes quite a slow rebound so replaced it with sand and seems much better. With regard to the sand, it took me 40 minutes to fill it with 45kg of sand, and that was with some breaks so not too bad. I got play pit sand, came fairly dry and was nice and cheap. The only criticism I have of the hole is it's been drilled part way down the base unit making it impossible to fill the unit completely. It looks as though there was an existing hole at the top that seems to have been filled with hot glue, kinda wish they'd kept this the hole and not drilled a 2nd one. I'd estimate I'd get 60kg max sand in there. Overall very impressed and happy with the unit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a heavy bag. I have only used it a handful of times so suppose time will tell on its durability but seems great so far. If you're concerned about its swing, there are some great YouTube videos of this bag that shows it can really take a beating

After searching for ages for something suitable for my 6ft husband I saw this and decided (hoped) it would be perfect. I am so pleased with it as is he. Its very sturdy although we did add 2 bags of sand as well as having it on wooden floor to allow the suction cups to work effectively and its great can really throw some powerful punches without it flying off anywhere! Well worth the money delivery was great came in 2 deliveries just 1 day apart. Puts together easy and can see this lasting a long time. Its been great to help with boredom and exercise through lockdown would definitely recommend. Careful though cos once u have set up if there's sand in your base like our will be a pain in the ass to move lol
