Beretta Competition Performance Shooting Eye Protection Metal Standard Shields Glasses

We love the frameless, wrap style of these glasses. It gives a clear view to aim and shoot.However, the earpieces have issues.I have contacted Berretta directly to no avail. They remain silent about the earpiece falling off.I am reluctant to repurchase since the earpieces do not seem to last a shooting season. At that price, the earpiece should last.I am continually on the look out for new glasses that have this line of sight vision field,BUT will have earpieces that last longer than one season.

I really like these frames!The description reads “metal” which they are, but they’re not heavy; they’re more of the consistency of a flimsy die cast metal.At the indoor shooting range these are great for the first 15 minutes, but if you’re wearing over-the-ear hearing protection, the design of the loop ear bands becomes uncomfortable. If you only use regular earplugs this wouldn’t be an issue but the pressure of the over-the-ear “earmuffs” pushes the ear bands into the sides of your head! A normal pair of eye protection glasses are a lot more comfortable when wearing earmuffs.I guess this is the price you pay if you want to be stylish.

Most of the cheap shooting glasses feel like the protective eyewear you'd use for home remodeling. Those get uncomfortable and tend to slip. Beretta shooting glasses are like a night & day difference, these are the best! It barely feels like I'm wearing anything. I have the yellow ones which help with contrast especially around dawn/dusk. Here is the level of filtering according to lens color:0 - Transparent, Yellow1 - Violet2 - Red, Gray, Orange3 - Black

I've used these for a good 10-12 hours on the range now, and I can say they are more comfortable than any other safety glasses I've used. I wear both in the ear and over the ear protection, and these are the first glasses that don't end up hurting behind my ears after wearing them. To give you an idea of what I mean, I still have to remove my earrings because they poke me under my ear protection, but I don't even feel these!Great visibility - no frame to get in the way of your field of vision. All in all, a great set of glasses at an affordable price.

I read some reviews that they are very big. They are, but they are shaped in a way that fits all size heads. I have a 6 &3/4" hat size head (Small) They wrap around and contour my face great. The ear stems are snug to my head. The ear loops stick out past my ears, but that does not matter, the glasses still stick to my head. The tall lens is exactly what I was looking for shooting Trap and Skeet. 5 Stars

Four stars for quality. Would have given it a fifth star if the arms of the frame where they wrap around the ear were adjustable; they're not. They will extend way past your ears making the loops useless. Oddly, they stay in place despite this flaw.

These shooting glasses provide great coverage for eye protection without compromising visibility. Not something I would wear in public unless you're trying to convince people that you just had cataract surgery. They work great with over-the-ear muffs, as the wire which loops around the ear is quite thin and does not compromise the seal. The zippered storage case is of good quality, and protects the glasses very well while they are stored in my range bag. I have two pairs now, and I would definitely recommend them.

I work at a shooting range and wear ear protection (headphones) all day. These glasses saved the backs of my ears, which were being rubbed raw by glasses with thicker frames. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for "shotgun" type sports: skeet/trap/sporting/FITASC. They ride high on your face so that when you lean into the gun you have great protection and a clear field of view. The drawback is that the nose clip was made from too large a piece of black plastic. It does tend to catch the eyes attention when you lean into the gun. This cost me a target at skeet on doubles looking for the 2nd clay. Lens is very clear with no distortion and yes it does accentuate "orange" nicely. Wrap around ear retention from glasses is great but if you wear headsets instead of plugs, they tend to irritate the ear after an hour or so. From an esthetic point of view, they are 5-stars.

These glasses fit quite comfortable because of the flexible arms and adjustable nose piece. Some previous reviewers commented on the nose piece being quite large and drawing their eyes too it. When I first put these glasses on at home I too noticed the nose piece and was concern it might be a distraction when shooting. I had a chance to use them too shoot some trap this weekend. Trap targets are rising of course so your eye is drawn up and I’m happy to report the nose piece was a complete non-issue. The purple lenses really helped make the targets visible. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase.
