Q: Why when i order the 100, i should plant them five feet apart and if i order the 24, i am to plant them three feet apart?

Amazon has rules that other sellers can come into the ad I produce and completely change it. Both photos and description. My original Listing stated, and the proper way to plant is a single row planted 3 feet apart. Or a double staggering row planted every 5 feet. That is the best way. Q: can these be taken across Canadian border?

I know I cannot ship to Canada because my nursery license only allows shipment to the USA. I know they are known to grow into southern Canada. Probably the area near Niagara Falls where it dips farther south. I have had a bit of a struggle with the trees when the outside temp reached 30 below one night, but they did survive. Any colder than that and I think the tree would die. You would have to have them shipped to a USA address and I have no idea if they can be brought across the border. I would say no they cannot be. Because I have ordered something as simple as seed from Canada and the seed had to be inspected before it left Canada, and it was also stopped at the border to be tested. Then finally shipped into the USA. So at least plants, trees, seed coming into the USA they are very fussy on what can come in. Maybe Canada is not as fussy but it would not surprise me if they are just as fussy. And for good reason. Thanks for asking. Mike

Q: Are there any open spaces near the ground that you can see through?

It depends on how you trim them. If you cut the tops the first few years it forces thick lower growth so there are no spaces. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Q: Do you have any that are not bare root

None of them I sell have roots. They are cuttings and you will have to root them out. Does not take long to develop a good amount of roots. About two or three weeks and they are rooted and growing. I am the seller under the name Shady Acre Perennials and I make sure the cuttings are at least 10 inches long and I also include a free hosta plant, a miniature hosta plant when mature, which works great for small gardens. The hosta plant itself can easily sell for ten dollars or more. Mike
