Great looking knife
If you know case then you know that they are top quality and one of the best values out there but this knife is also one of the most beautiful. Honestly the picture doesn't even come close to doing it justice. It is one of the most beautiful knives I have seen and both my family and the person I gifted it to thought so.

Beautiful Knife
My first Case knife after watching reviews and manufacturing videos I decided to buy despite some reviews complaining about quality. I can’t find a single defect in build. I did hone the blades because of it being burred to one side but it was sharp and usable straight out of the box. It will see years of use and I don’t see needing another knife during my life unless I lose it.

You can never go wrong with a Case knife. The blue in this one is beautiful, the knife is great quality, perfect size. A great gift for any man.

100% Hand-Made American Quality
Beautiful. I had to get a Navy one to add to the collection.Side note (and please note): I'm not a Case salesman but I am sold on this brand. I just find it very rare to get more than your money's worth on a product these days.About a month before buying one I was looking for a knife that had more of that classic American appeal. You know, something timeless that your father or your grandfather would have carried around in his pocket. Case knives are just that. They are an instant collectible as each ones unique (hand made). If your like me and you've played the field with CRKT, SOG, and other folders but just want something new in your life Case is the one. Everything is flush, everything is quality. If you are worried about the absence of a liner-lock please note that Case does make models with liner locks.....or button locks for that matter. But make no mistake there is a audible click / pop when the blade is opened and contacts the end spring. I don't worry about it anymore like I did before I tried one. Actually, I found a Stockman model made in 1980 and a Peanut model made in '95 the other day and it functions just as good as their 2015 counterparts. If you're curious about one of these but are thinking more economical like Buck or Uncle Mike please do yourself a favor and don't bother. Not that they're terrible or anything but they don't have anywhere near the build quality or quality of materials invested in them as does a Case knife. Most often than not those other companies utilize cheaper materials and inferior metals and don't have near the tolerances that a Case does. Buy it once.

Heavy, has a nice snap when opened, just a quality knife.
Handle a trapper made in China then handle a Case - there’s no comparison. I see some reviews that say Case’s quality has faltered in recent years but the knife I received is perfect and I couldn’t be happier. I own multiple Case xx knives and give one to each of my children on their 13th birthdays. Case keeps sending me quality knives so I’ll keep buying them.Case’s prices have gone up considerably over the past few years. However, they still make a quality product at a competitive price. I own a number of Case knives and the factory edge is never great (GEC doesn’t put a great edge on their knives either and they charge a lot more for their products), but it’s pretty good. This knife was no exception. Fit and finish of this knife is excellent (as I have come to expect from Case) and if you want to collect quality American made pocket knives as a hobby, Case is the best combination of quality and price. The coloration of the scales typically look brighter in the stock photos than it does in person. That’s true here as well. I love the blue bone scales but they do appear darker on my knife than in the pictures. Not a problem for me, just something to be aware of.

Case is a great knife just one problem the color.
My husband loves Case Knives it’s probably his number one brand of knives that he collects. However I done the ordering and picking out this one for Father’s Day so it was a surprise, although he loves it I was very disappointed in the color. It’s pretty but the color of blue and green isn’t what it looks like in the picture. If it was up to me I would have exchanged it but him liking it is what matters. As a woman color matters to me but I have to agree that’s it’s a great knife for its purpose I just wished I would have ordered a different one.
