When we have guests for dinner I always like to provide cloth napkins. I used to dread washing and ironing my old cotton and linen napkins, but I no longer have to bother. I just toss these in the washer and they come out looking new. No ironing ever. They make a beautiful table setting at an affordable price.

After 6 years of happily using these napkins, I'm rewriting my review. There appear to be 2 types sold under this product sku. One is the all-polyester, shiny, "plastic" napkins mentioned in the bad reviews. The other is what I ordered which are actually 100% cotton (despite the 100% polyester description)! And I love my cotton napkins! I ordered 4 packs for casual everyday use at home. 3 packs turned out to be plenty so I saved the 4th pack. The cotton napkins faded after the first wash, giving them that artsy distressed look but afterwards color stayed consistent even with repeated wash/dry. Some shrank slightly which ended up in different sizes (some slightly rectangular), but I'm okay with this. Very durable cotton/linen material like denim so the more they're washed, the softer they get.HOWEVER, recently I opened the 4th pack which happen to be 100% polyester which are indeed shiny and non-absorbent. This material is more suitable for shower curtains. To be fair, the description does say 100% polyester which means indeed "PLASTIC." So it should not be a surprise that they don't absorb or wipe anything, and they're slippery and can't be folded or formed. These are the characteristics of plastic! I agree that as napkins, 100% polyester does not make sense. But the 100% cotton ones that I have are an economical, environmental, and aesthetic solution to an otherwise wasteful alternative of paper napkins. I have not purchased paper napkins for my home in 6 years! 5-star rating for the 100% cotton napkins!

I ordered these for my brother's wedding. They seemed fairly nice, and they arrived quickly. Shipping costs through Amazon is also much cheaper than shipping through the company itself.I wasn't overly pleased once they did arrive, though. The napkin material was coarse, though looked like they'd wash easily, and they were rather plain for what I'd paid. The stitching wasn't always even, and it was more obvious than in other napkins I've ordered in the same price range. Even so, they looked okay once I'd rolled them into napkin holders, and they worked well enough for the wedding. They were larger than expected, which was a bit of a bonus, and the perfect size for the napkin holders.They didn't wash at all well, though. Even the lightest stains took several washings to come clean, and since I'd expected that to be the one redeeming quality in such plain napkins, I wasn't pleased.I placed another order from the same company for tablecloths and overlays, and they were even more disappointing. The overlays were supposed to be in peach and mint--the colors of the wedding--but the mint was too deep a green to count as mint, and the peach was just plain orange. Dull, ugly orange. The bride chose to go to a fabric store an hour away and stitch her own rather than use them, and I don't blame her a bit.They also don't iron well. I'd expected to iron them, of course, but I spent HOURS on just a few napkins and tablecloths. It was ridiculous. Worse still, many of the items arrived with stains. I had to wash several of them more than once just to be able to use them, and some had stains that wouldn't wash out at all. I'd seen a few reviews with similar complaints but hadn't really had a choice given the time I had before the wedding, and I wouldn't have minded terribly if only one or two had been soiled. Several of them were, however, so even if these had been amazing napkins and tablecloths, I'd still never buy from this company again.On a side note, I initially tried contacting the company for a return. I had to get approval via the automated website before I could return the merchandise, and while that was granted easily enough, the time frame I was given for returns was a little short. I decided against returning in the end, just because it wasn't worth the cost of shipping the soiled items back, but it's something to note.

This year I decided not to do the normal red and green color scheme for Christmas and opted instead, to use my Noritake Crestwood Cobalt Platinum, china. Unfortunately, I had a great deal of difficulty finding a dark navy napkin in any of our local stores. This is what led me to your web site. I wanted a true navy colored napkin to offset the beautiful new silver napkin rings my husband just purchased as a birthday gift. Well, your napkins were literally delivered five minutes ago, and I was so impressed that the color shown on your site was so true to the color of the napkins delivered, that I wanted to immediately say, "THANK YOU" for offering such a great product at such an inexpensive price. Here in Louisiana, Southern hospitality is such a big part of our culture and setting a beautiful table is very important to this tradition. Not only will I be returning to purchase many more colors to add to my collection, but I'll be bragging about where I found them to all of my Southern Belle friends! Again, thank you for offering a great product at a fantastic price.

I had purchased these napkins for a dinner party and they were wonderful. I was a bit worried prior to ordering due to the low price for the set of napkins. I have ordered linens and napkins for quite a few banquet events at work and they have been a higher price per dozen but, I decided to give these a try anyway and I am pleased that I did. The napkins were the fabric quality that I was hoping for. They were the perfect weight and thickness to make napkin rosettes from and the slight metallic feel to them was stunning. The only issue I had with these were some threads pulling from the napkins, which is why I rated them at a 4 star level instead of a 5 star level. Trimming the strings was an easy fix for the problem. All in all this was an excellent purchase.
