Best RO system
This little powerhouse is a magnificent marvel of technology. For less than 60 dollars, this system can not be beat! Comes mostly assembled. All I had to do was insert the RO membrane into the cylinder and connect water input. This does NOT come with a garden hose adapter, so I purchased one separately that was listed in the "Frequently bought together" list. We have terrible well water that comes out RED sometimes from all the clay deposits. My EC meter measures 650ppms on our raw well water (500ppm scale). The water produced from the clean water line of this filter reads 0PPM! I have had this unit for a couple weeks now and it has produced over 200 gallons of pure, clean, great tasting water for me and my plants! If you are a gardener, this RO system is a MUST! If you are a clean water fanatic, this system is a MUST! Great tasting water! SO happy with this purchase! The replacement filters are only 37 dollars for the whole set, which is VERY affordable! A friend of mine has had this RO system for 2 years and has never even replaced his filters, and his still works great! It may not be the fastest RO system on the market but if price is an issue, BUY THIS UNIT!! I suggest buying a tank or 5 gallon water jugs to store the clean water in, as it takes about 5 minutes to get a full 16 oz glass of water. Also, does not require crazy high water pressure. I'd say our water pressure is no more than the average household water pressure and the system still performs just fine. I am telling ALL of my friends about this great filter system! I wish I had found this a long time ago! Thank you OSMOPUR for making a great, affordable RO system! Finally, EVERYONE can afford clean water!

Works as advertised.
Easy to set up and use. Works as advertised. Doesn't leak, makes lots of water. I hooked it up to a 1/4 inch plastic ice maker supply line in my garage. I used Shark-bite tee and shutoff valve, very easy. I use it to make clean water for my carnivorous plants, sure beats going to the store to buy six gallons of distilled water every week.

Good, affordable R/O System
I’ve installed 4 or 5 R/O systems in places I’ve lived to get bottled-water quality from the tap. I prefer to get rid of as much chlorine, lead, and fluoride as possible. Good clean taste - or lack of taste - is also important. I chose this unit to produce clean drinking water in my travel trailer as there really isn’t room for a pressure tank like most R/O systems. The unit works well and at ~50 psi produces R/O filtered washer at a pretty high rate. Easily several gallons an hour. The unit is compact and I bundle it up and store it away after filling all of my jugs and bottles. Without this unit, I’d be going through several 24 or 36 packs of half-liter plastic bottles a week. That’s just too much waste. I refill the better-quality bottles and save the plastic/planet. Two minor downsides that I noticed: Description says that unless you specify otherwise, you’ll receive a garden hose thread adapter. That’s not what was in the package. My kit came with a whole standard “under sink” hardware kit. Self-piercing valve, shut-off valve adapter for typical supply lines, and the clap/tap that fits your drain line for the waste water tubing. There was done other valve in there that I couldn’t quite figure out. At any rate, if you want to hook this up to a hose bibb, you’ll need a few fittings. I also noticed that the tubing arrangement as shipped routes the water through a carbon filter -before- the R/O membrane. All of the other systems I’ve installed touted the water through the carbon filter at the very last stage. Though this may be due to this system not having a tank, I would think it’s a bit of a waste to be using up the carbon filter’s life filtering water that’s going to go down the drain. I may read-route the tubing to sent the water through the carbon filter last. At any rate, an efficient and affordable solution to the need for high-quality filtered water. You may just need to run to the local hardware store for a few stray bits and pieces.

Nice job Geekpure
So far I'm impressed, this is a good quality RO filter. I have had no leaks, the tubes came already connected, so it was pretty much plug and play after you mount it and add the membrane. It came with quite a few extra tools for other types of installation. I was a little on the fence, since I hadn't heard of this brand and purchased 2 aquatic life RO buddies in the past. My first impression is it is just as good if not better value. I was able to make about 4 gallon RO water in about 35 minutes and the waste water was about 5 gallon (see pic). A 4/5 ratio of RO to waste water seems really good to start. I got 12 ppm (parts per million) on my TDS (total dissolved solids) meter. I usually get 18-20 ppm when buying water from outside store machines and my tap water is 425 ppm. If you want 0 ppm you'll need the 4th stage (DI resin). Lastly, I bought a separate angle stop adapter valve sized 3/8 UNEF X 3/8 UNEF X 1/4" at Home Depot to connect it under the bathroom sink, check your faucet hose connector size, but that worked for me. Hope this helps someone!

So far so good
Best value for money. After start 14 ppm. After 30 minutes 2ppm. Everything is included for a quick installation. 30-40 minutes to get 1 gallon of water. My source has 160ppm. Update: after 15-20 gallons it drops to 0 ppm.

Waste water never stops running
If you are going to use this you better put a valve on the intake side of the system so that you can shut it off manually when your reservoir is full. Otherwise the waste water never stops flowing and will cost you a fortune in your water bill. For reference I have a 25 gallon reservoir with a float valve to stop the RO water from continuing to fill it. I ran the waste water directly to my sump pit. If I had followed the manufacturer's instructions amd ran the waste water into existing plumbing I probably would not have noticed it never shutting off until I got my bill.

Installation is super easy. Instruction is clear. Now I can start fresh my aquarium water by reconditioning dKH and dGH for my aquarium and also use pure water for drinking. Buy the system with no hesitation. The most competitive price for RO system in the market. Delivery is lightning fast and well packed. The supplied bolts for waste water saddle is a bit too short for my drain pipe so have to use longer bolts as you can see. The compression nut for the drain tubing is plastic so just hand tighten. I haven’t tested the TDS yet but pH I got 6.5, dKH 0 and dGH 4 deg. Just exactly what I want for my planted tank. DkH no worries as now I can simply recondition it to 4 deg. I just want dKH and dGH between 3-6 deg so the system is an absolute champion. Filling up takes 20 L/ hour but I just got a 12 L RO tank and now I also got pure water for drinking like a breeze. This unit is supposed to be hanged, so better do like mine. Everything works perfectly!

I bought this for aquarium usage and it has been worth it. Definitely works, tested my tap water before and afterward. Before: TDS: 147 Ammonia: 0 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 0 dGH: 7 dKH: 4 After: TDS: 2-3 Ammonia: 0 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 0 dGH: 0 dKH: 0 Couldn't ask for more, only drawback is it takes about 90 minutes for me to fill a 20 litre canister. I just fill my water change canisters in advance so when I do my water changes I don't have to wait for to RO. If you want RO on a budget I definitely recommend this unit.

Great item easy to set-up, portable which is handy so I can put it away after doing water change in fish tank.
