Awesome product
Definitely a good product! Super easy install. Comes with the hardware necessary to install it. I got this for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler and it only took about 15 minutes to install. It is pretty sturdy just a little vibration when on the road but holds the phone in place. This product can also hold walkie talkies which is awesome. The product uses a screw to mount in place so you won’t ever have to worry about it falling like the vent mounts or suction mounts. I would definitely recommend this mount !

got Vibes Baby. and now it broke.
an update, Wasted time = wasted money. Plastic head piece broke. less then a month of use, It was easy to mount and easy to set up and use but when you are going down the road it shakes like a leaf in the wind. I am going to keep this and weld a brace to it on the inside to make it vibe less. hopefully it will improve, I do like the design and the function but it is shaky at best. If i get the chance to get a picture after I improve the mount, I will post it.

Good CB mount. OK phone mount.
I originally got the Dynastar phone mount for my 17 JKU (Willys Wheeler Ed) but rarely used it as it mounted top to bottom and the springs were real tight. Got the RuggedRidge (mount only) on prime day. It mounts side to side, and it fit the mounting ball. Problem was it had rubber arm extensions which came off in the heat and the phone wouldn't stay on the small plastic arm without the rubber extensions. Saw this mount and liked the fact that it didn't block the windshield, so I gave it a try. Installed easily. (See pix) 5/5 Looks great for a CB mount. (But I don't have a CB in my JKU - had one in my YJ but don't wheel with anyone who uses a CB, so I took it out too.) The phone mount is OK but the plastic arm isn't as sturdy feeling as I'd like and the mount itself (though side to side, like I prefer) is kind of wobbly near full extension so without seeing how it does over time, I'm giving it 4/5 for sturdiness. Overall I'd definitely recommend this mount if you're in the market for a multi-use mount.

Great grab-bar mounted phone / CB mic holder!
Very easy install! The parts appear well made and the fit and appearance is very good. I was skeptical about the quality of the phone mount cradle, but it appears to be the same manufacturer as another company’s dash mount system cradle that I have used for some time and have been very happy with. The only two criticisms I have are: 1) there is some vibration with the phone mount when driving, so if using your phone for GPS purposes the screen can be a little shaken; 2) due to the construction of the ball mount piece, there is some limitation of movement on the ball. Regardless of those criticisms, it is a great phone / CB mic holder for a great price! Buy it - you won’t be disappointed!

Weak Arm… Plastic Twisted Easily… Returned
Install was easy. The metal spacer and base are well made. However, the part that connects is a weak plastic that moved and twisted whenever I went to slide the arm to the side to insert my phone. I could not tighten the bolt enough to stop it from twisting and I was not comfortable allowing my phone to hang so high in the unstable grip. The arms grips were too tight and shallow and my phone sat too high up and obstructed windshield view. I returned and purchased a similar product that allows an easy one handed phone insert and the phone sits lower. I would not recommend. Sorry I do not have a photo with the phone inserted.

Handy, well-made mount with multiple uses!
This is a great little mount! I left the phone clip part off because the main bracket can also hold a CB mic. The install was very fast and easy: pop off the passenger grab bar trim, remove the two screws that hold the bar in place. The bracket fits between the grab bar and the dashboard as pictured; there is also a spacer that fits in the same spot but on the other end of the bar to keep things even. Re-install the screws and the trim piece and you're almost done! The phone mount fits onto the bracket as you see in the photos. (This is the part I left off, but it does seem well-made for the price. The spring offers plenty of grip and jaws open wide enough to fit most standard-sized phones)

Angles the phone up, difficult to impossible to see.
Pretty easy to install however I got this so I could use my phone as a GPS (which I rarely do anyway) but when the phone is on the holder it faces upward at about a 45 degree angle so it's difficult to see (what the heck good is that???) It was inexpensive I I may try to adjust the angle by either bending the bracket, softening the plastic part with a heat gun and angling it down a little or building a angled wedge to put behind it. (hopefully I won't break it, ugh). Giving it 1 star because without (hopefully) modifying it severely it's pretty useless. I got this because the previous mount I got (from Extremeterrain) is also basically useless because it sits on top of the dashboard and sunlight hits the screen, also bad angle here too.

Useful but significant vibration
This is an ok mount. The install is well integrated to the grab bar on one hand and does not impede the driver’s view but requires an 8mm socket, extension and a ratchet (or T handle) to install. Location of mount is good but it does vibrate quite a bit the main mount point is solid but because the holder itself extends quite a bit, the phone will vibrate. Not a deal breaker but compared to other mounts, not ideal.
