Samsung Galaxy T-399 Case - Cellularvilla Hard Soft Dual Layer Hybrid Armor Holster Kickstand Case with Locking Belt Swivel Clip Cover for Samsung Galaxy Light SGH-T399 (T-Mobile) (Green Black)

This is a replacement case for my Samsung Galaxy Light. I had tried to order the same kind of case and the best I could do was find one that's similar color and design as my CaseFormers, which withstood a LOT - throwing (sometimes intentional), dropping, brief submersion, and once an indirect softball strike.This Cellularvilla is not remotely the same as my old CaseFormers. The material is noticeably lighter and the green plastic more rigid. That's not necessarily a bad thing (it has kept the phone safe during its share of knocks) but it seems like it could withstand less.The biggest detraction is that the case seems to not exactly fit the Galaxy Light. If the phone isn't inserted perfectly into the case, it can grab the back panel of the phone and on more than one occasion it has loosened the panel enough that the battery lost contact. I thought my phone was going bad until I took it out of case and saw the opened panel. If you do get this case (it is cheap, it does protect), be sure to snap it in firmly.

I had this brand of case for another samsung galaxy (different model) that broke and I could have cared less about the phone. The case was so awesome I didn't want to give it up. In the mean time I've had an LG phone that was, let's say, whatever... but it finally bit the dust at a party a few weeks back and I was able to switch back to this newer galaxy model at MetroPCS.. not only is the phone pretty stellar for the cheap money it costs, I was thrilled to find this brand made a case for this phone too! It looks far more expensive than it costs, covers the phone wonderfully, and has a great fit and finish, especially for the price. The case and holder securely fit together for added protection if you wanted, but the case alone looks great on the phone, very masculine/militaryesque. The coolest thing I noticed was that the finishes are deep and not lightly sprayed on. Even after I ran the other phone over with my Ford Ranger, the casee looked great, the phone was crushed, but the rubber and finish on the plastic still looked great. Just order it, can't beat the price or the quality. Last thing, the rubber is really high quality with a great tactile feel to it; grippy enough to stay in your hand or not slide all over the car seat (cloth), but also smooth and silky enough to go in and out of your pocket without a ridiculous amount of rubbery grab...big selling point. Fits my phone well and keeps it protected. Every once in a while, the touch screen will get a little finicky and I have to pull the edges of the case away to get it to sort of recalibrate. Overall, I am pleased with this case. I had wanted Otterbox like protection but they don't make an Otterbox case for this model, so this was the best one I could find.

The case works great but the belt clip broke within a day. If you are looking for just the phone case, this is a great product.

It fits nice and tight around the phone. Some times it can be a little difficult to pull the phone free to answer but it never falls out of the carrier of its own accord. The rubberized material surrounding the phone provides good shock absorption. I recommend it to people that get into tight spaces or bump into things at work.

Fast shipping via amazon prime. However quality of the product wasn't that great in my opinion. Glad I didn't spend a lot on it.
