Very hard even after soaked in warm water as described.. I wouldn't buy it ever nor recommend to people.On top of that after a year of use its coming out in some places.

This product is very difficult to use and the instructions are poor. The end result is pleasing, but it requires very strong hands, a lot of patience, and a rubber mallet to get it in place. I would not recommend it for DIYers, unless you know the trade secret.

All these people using hot water lol. Just use a hot air gun...The worst thing about this threshold is the rail that sits underneath. They're all the same though. You have to make 110% sure it's firmly fixed in the exact position it needs to be but the top piece is no problem with a hot gun haha.

Do not order from this business. Customer service is poor and so it the product. I've returned thia item it was not fit for the use intended. I have followed the instructions to the letter but it simply wouldn't click in place. I appreciate that some people have eventually got it to work but every situation is different and if a product doesn't work properly without huge effort them its faulty. I have returned the item and requested a refund from the supplier. But they are refusing. Saying that "the item hasn't been returned as it was sent" (It wouldn't be, as I've tried to install it) they also said "we have not had any other complaints with with the item". However you only have to read the reviews to see that this is a lie as there have been issues and complaints about it before and quite recently, I simply wanted to try it as it did look like it could work. Part of giving a good service is accepting that sometimes your product doesnt work. They however simply blame the customer. Not good business or customer service. I've now had to go to amazon to try and resolve the issue. Based on my experience with his business I could not recommend them.

Good product. Looks good. We used it to edge the perimeter of our spiral staircase. It was tricky to fix because of a thick carpet but works well in the end. Be patient.
