I bought several crystal books through the years, but when I started into my crystal journey back in the early 90's, there weren't many books available. That changed within the last decade. Now there are plenty of books on the subject, and along with that, some fluffy, useless ones. So, I spent some time looking around for books on Crystal Healing that would actually be useful and, for me, that meant less fluff, more concise, to the point information, and good stone coverage. I read many reviews on Amazon and other sites and researched many of the books until I found ones I felt might fit the bill. Enter 'The Crystal Healer' book. After my search, I ended with about 10 books on my list and from that, settled for two, this one being one of them. When the books arrived, I saw pretty quickly that 'The Crystal Healer' was a great book. The more I delved into it, the more I liked it. I have to say this book quickly rose to the top 10 of the ones I own on Crystal healing. I also bought some organizers to keep my crystals in, since I own many and through the years (and some moves) have lost some of the labels identifying some of the stones. As I organized my collection, this book was great at quickly helping me identify a handful of the crystals I had, which had lost their labels. It would be safe for me to say that I now LOVE this book and will look for other books from this author.

I'm so happy I bought this book! Not only are there plenty of pictures of each stone but it's broken down by COLOR! So if you are like me and don't know much about stones....that alone is a huge help identifying stones. Also, in the back of the book are three separate areas that are broken down by 1)physical issues 2) emotional issues and 3) spiritual issues....very smart way of setting up a book IMO. You look up the problem you're having....and it tells you what stones help! Like if said...very smart layout.

I teach crystal healing and have for over 20 years, so I am pretty critical when I find a book on the subject. This book however is fantastic and worth every penny you spend on it. The author is very easy to follow and skilled, and it comes through in his writing. The joy of crystal healing that he has comes through in this work. I highly recommend you purchase this book if you are seeking a text on the subject.

Best Crystal book I have seen. I own about 10 crystal books and this is exactly what I have been searching for. I like how the crystals are listed by color. I had about 25 stones I was trying to identify and this helped. Best part of the book is the Crystal remedies. I truly believe in crystal healing and this has become my bible.

I am so obsessed with this book, one of the best ones out there.Has great directory, you'll always find exactly what you're looking for every time.Explains the crystals so clearly and sections them by color, which is great for newbies just looking up crystals to see what they are just by knowing the color.In the back, it tells you which crystals are for your health/mental problems.For example, my mom has cancer and in the back it shows me different crystals i can use for cancer healing properties.Love this book and it's a great price. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Exactly what I'd hoped for. Clearly organized, lots of info, engaging photos and graphics. Everyone interested in learning more about crystals should own this book. I've read through it many times. There are other books with more detail/crystals, but this is more than enough for most of us. User-friendly!

I make jewelry with real stones and I like to tell people about the metaphysical properties of the various types of beads . I love handling the turquoise, jade , howlite, jet, hematite, coral , and find them soothing.

Truly, this IS the crystal "bible". You will find a ton of information in here, written by the ultimate authority on crystals, Judy Hall. Pretty much all you could ever want to know, packed into this small book. Our local "rock shop" has a tattered copy on the counter. They use it as their "go-to" reference for any questions that may arise that they don't know the answers to. Judy has also two more "bibles" in addition to this one, so all your bases are covered, if you buy the other two. Also she has written a bunch of other books on crystals....so we all have a LOT of reading & studying to do!! I highly recommend this volume to everyone, including beginners, who has an interest in learning all there is to know about crystals. We use our copy all the time. A great resource!

I didn't know anything about crystals before I bought this book, now I know a lot!I love how The Crystal Healer is set up, the first two chapters are a short introduction of what you can do with your crystals e.g. how to cleanse them, how to make crystal elixirs, on chakras etc. This is not in-depth information -you would need a seperate book for that- but quite enough to begin with.Next 250 crystals are sorted by color with a color photograph of each one. Beside each crystal you get a few words about that crystals' abilities to help you heal pysically and emotionally/spiritually.Then you have four chapters focused on wich crystal/s to work with as remedies for physical & emotional ailments and for spiritual & lifestyle enhancement.This book is very easy to navigate compared to the other book on crystals I have looked through. In short I love it! I have even mixed a few "recipes" for my family. My wife feels the crystals have helped her a lot with cronic pain, used alongside her regular medication. But that's for another time.I love crystals now!

Love it, I am a qaulified Crystal Therapist, but I still love this book and it is beautiful to show clients. I usually use Judy Hall, but this is a great book as pages are large, pictures are clear and crystals are shown in colour code, which is a nice alternative to alphabetical when you are drawn to a particular colour. Also lots of info on how to use crystals. Fab for Beginners aswell as more experienced crystal fanatics!

Stunning informative book, everything you would want to know about crystals from their common name, where they come from, astological associations, Chakra and healing qualities, all with beautiful clear pictures of the stones. Highly recommend this book absolutely love it you won't be disappointed.

Have recently found I have an interest in crystals and wanted to know their healing benefits so purchased this book. For a novice this book is great not too intimidating or confusing. It has the right amount of information detailed enough not to overwhelm you. Found this very helpful a great book for a beginner!
