Toyota Genuine (PT478-18130) Armrest, Center

I didn't want to drill any holes on my console so I just used double-sided tape to install this armrest. Just apply the tape to the rails (the side that mounts to the console), snap the rails to the included cover piece, apply tape to the sides and rear of the cover piece, then mount to the console. Woks really well and takes only 5 minutes to install. You don't even have to use the template. And since you didn't drill any holes, it is completely reversible. You can remove the armrest when it's time to sell the car and sell the armrest separately.The quality of the armrest itself is excellent - just as you would expect from a factory part. It adds an extra level of comfort, spruces up the interior and doesn't interfere at all with the manual shifter. You also still get to use the cupholder - something that you can't do with the other armrest options.

It's good, but it feels that it might get damaged quickly.

Not sure about this yet. It showed up i opened the box and i would have to completely put together armrest. Fabric needs to be cut and installed. For 175$ it she be ready to go in the car. It is NOT. Not sure if i will return it or turn into an upholstery wizard.

perfect fit on 2013 Scion fr-s. I spent only 40 mins to install it. Really love it.you need rivet gun, T-20 Screw Driver & Drill to install it.you will love it if you get one

Easy to install using the template but it is unsettling to drill holes in a new car. The leather covered rest looks a lot better than the plastic cup holder and its the perfect height to rest your elbows on a long trip. You can roll the rest back and get it out of the way for an autocross or a track session.

I like the adjustability of the armrest. Provides just enough comfort for its purpose while not being too big. It slides front to back so you can still utilize the cupholders. Install is done with rivets and a templet. I work for Toyota and had it put in for me for free so no advice on install. It is a great addition to the FRS. Well worth it!! 4 Stars due to the fit and finish on the bottom. I am picky.

Installed in 2017 BRZ. Great fit. Works excellentShould have come from the factory with this.Had it professionally installed so can not comment on ease of install.

This should have come with the vehicle, I know it’s not as slim as the other oem add on armrest but was more useful. Allows you to have it all the way forward and a bottom in the back. In the middle with one bottle in front or all the way back to make two cup holders available. Perfect height in my opinion.
