Look great but....
Look great and stops the hoof lifting in high wind/ big rigs passing close by. Two things- something is off with the nuts they give you. Was unable to tighten all the way and broke one trying to remove. Luckily enough bolt left to secure using the factory nut. After that I used all the existing factory nuts on the drake bolts and did not have an issue. As for the security of the locks, the lower assembly pin is easily removed with a hex wrench. Very useful during the install since a very tight space getting to the bolt close to the headlight. Better security than before for a casual thief but could be better if the pin had a specialized nut. I store in my garage so looks were my goal anyway. Also, if removing the buckle to install the lower assembly, there are small rings that center the buckle on the pin. I dropped one on the ground and it was a miracle I found it. Be careful during the install since it is not obvious they are there until disassembled. Overall look good and I would buy again.

I highly recommend this product
These are as solid as you can imagine, and you will not experience any of the notorious "Hood Flutter" that plagues Jeeps. For that reason, I highly recommend this product. However, it is a small hassle to have to use the keys to open the latch every single time. I would give this a 5 star rating if there was a way to open and close it with the OPTION to lock it as opposed to having to lock it every single time. That being said, I do not open my hood every day, so the minor inconvenience is a relatively small complaint. They are high quality, very solid, and easy to install.

Save $20 bucks and get version w/o locks
Look great, really tightens the hood down & eliminates hood flutter. If you have upgraded fenders like myself, you might have to grind down the 2 little tabs but no biggie. If you're buying for security purposes...not so much. A toddler could figure out that all it takes is 3 seconds w/ hex key to unscrew bolt from bottom hinge. If you live in regions where it shows then it's not worth the hassle to get lockable version even more so. Lock freezes over and then you'd have to de-ice...

Looks great, not perfect design
Really like the looks of these. Only issue I had was after a short while, whatever mechanism internally that dis-engages the lock no longer works. I have to manually push the guts back in to get it to let the pin out. I have a small zip tie hooked to my keychain so that I have something with me if I need to open the hood. I don't have to get under the hood often so not a huge deal, but a bit of a pain.

Works pretty good as a hold down
Works pretty good as a hold down, zero hood flutter. The locking mechanism would be easy to get by with two wrenches. Sucks to use in the cold and/or dirty environment as dirt keeps it from unlocking sometimes. But still like the look and is better than non locking.

Well made and easy to install although don't count on directions
Well made and easy to install although don't count on directions. Remember to pull the old rubber fender tabs from the stock latches. I get comments everyday about them.

great latches, terrible locking mechanism
I installed these at the end of last year, and they didn't hold up well through the winter. Despite lubrication and cleaning, since the cold weather both latches have had issues opening (meaning when I unlock it, the shaft that holds the bearings in the locked position doesn't move). I've been having to push the center pin back with an allen wrench to get it to unlock. Recently one of the locks broke, and both bearings are gone. it still functions to hold the hood down, but it cannot be locked anymore. on the plus side, I will no longer need an allen wrench to open my hood. These are excellent hood latches, but the locking mechanism is a joke, stick with the regular non-locking version and save some money.

No More Hood Flutter
This took care of holding the hood solid when opposing semi-trucks in highway construction zones and the normal head winds up here in the north. The install was simple and all new hardware was provided. Looks cool and provides some additional security. Should keep the honest people out and encourage others to move on to easier pickings.
