Dogsport Two Pack Water Bottle Cap For Dogs

For those who are unsure on how this works, think of your deodorant roller bottle. When the ball rolls it dispenses liquid, in this case water. This roller ball has a slight texture to it so it would spin while your pet is licking it. It is this part that I am not 100% sold on this bottle cap. I look at how much water I start with and how much is actually dispensed. While there are a few drops of water on the floor, mostly from over tilting or slightly squeezing the bottle to get the water out faster.Our dog figured it out pretty quickly, only a few seconds after offering it to him. So a plus for ease of use.Like many others, this does NOT fit every water bottle. I had to try four different one and would you know it. Even the one it does fit (Arrowhead) it only screwed on about 3/4 of a turn before the cap bottomed out. It doesn't leak from the bottle neck but it doesn't give me much confidence. The white middle adapter didn't fit any of our water bottles. I am using just the top roller ball part and the blue bottle adapter. Perhaps the manufactures should post what brand water bottles owners have had success with. I'm starting to wonder if a baby bottle with rubber nipple might work as well.PROS: inexpensive and worth the effort if it works out for your pet. Convenient and almost every backpack has a water bottle pouch to carry. You get two sets!CONS: Does fit commercially available water bottles but not all. Nice that there is a lanyard ring for the cap to not loose it but no suggestions on how/what to use to secure it. I used some string. Uncertain how much water/effort is required to get a good drink.OVERALL: Recommended pet accessory especially when going outdoors. More convenient than bringing a collapsible bowl of flip bottle.

Love this item. My shih tzu prefers drinking from a drip bottle. I recently went on a long car trip with him and was concerned how I would be able to keep him hydrated along the way. This item checked that box for us. Attached easily to any water bottle I tried it on, and my dog took to it instantly. However, like I mentioned, he drinks from a drip bottle daily so he was used to the idea. A dog that’s never used a drip bottle before may require a little bit of training. I loved that the bottle didn’t leak at all and I could just keep it in his doggy bag in the car. We keep it with us all the time now for when we are out and about and he needs a quick drink.

I bought this product because I was tired of taking a travel dog bowl with me for my pup and seeing water to go to waste. It does leak a little but it works great for walks/in the car and it didn't take long for her to catch on to how it works.I am giving it four stars instead of five because I had to try it on five different water bottles before finding one it would fit on. Only issue so far.

So far so good, used it for a few weeks now, my little dog is still getting used to it, but it works fine. Doesn't drip unless you turn it around and squeeze the bottle, otherwise it remains with a god tight seal.

I especially like this product when I take my dog for a walk on hot days. I put this product on top of the water bottle, give it a slight squeeze, and my dog is licking away at the ball that dispenses the water. Great product and my dog knew very quickly how to use it. Highly recommend!

Great! My dog uses it and so does the dogs I dog sit for. It's handy when I forget his gulpy water bottle or if I'm in the car and don't wanna throw the remaining water left in the gulpy water bottle that he didn't drink I'll just throw this on a water bottle and he can drink it in the car and no spills or mess!

I absolutely love this ! I got this for my six month old chihuahua because she had a water bottle with an attached bowl and became scared of it. So I needed a new why to give her water on the go when I took her for walks or to the park and she loves it

Leaks but it is used for walls while we are outside so isn't took much of an issue.
