Does the switch face fit into a standard gang face plate? I want to install this into an existing 2 gang face plate but am concerned it won't fit.

I just installed it into a single gang box that previously had a Decora face plate. After removing the old light switch, IN ORDER TO FIT THE BULKIER HS220 I HAD TO DRASTICALLY TRIM THE 8 WIRES THAT WERE IN MY GANG BOX : five 12-gauge wires (2 white neutrals in a wire-nut, 2 black hots in a wire-nut along with a red "line" wire that connected the hots to the light switch), two 14-guage wires (1 white neutral, 1 black "load" wire), and 1 long ground wire that was connected to a bunch of short ground wires. Before trimming it seemed like there was absolutely no way it would fit, but I gave it a shot and it worked. I trimmed off a full 33" combined from all of those wires (the 12-gauge wires each 4.5" longer than was needed, while the 14-gauges were each 3" in excess, and the long ground wire was 5" in excess). I am glad I had a wire-stripping tool at home, otherwise this would have been much more difficult; with the wire stripper it was easy, but still time consuming.

Will this control 3 lights in the same fixture? One review says no

I have no idea what that reviewer is referring to and their review is inaccurate. This dimmer will control 3 and more lights in the same fixture with no problem. I have one controlling 6 LED lights on one fixture and another controlling 2 pendant lights on the same circuit.

I have power but no lights?

You must be careful which "black" wire goes to which connection on this device. You must connect the "Load" and "Supply" as indicated on the switch. If the switch does not turn on the lights, it is likely the "Load" and "Supply" wires are reversed; try swapping them and retry turning on the lights.
