Bold, comfortable, and built to last
These 8053 Quad Arc Oxfords are exactly what you want if you like statement shoes that still feel practical. The platform is chunky but well balanced, and they are surprisingly comfortable after a short break-in. The leather feels durable and high quality, and the construction is solid in that classic Dr. Martens way. They elevate even simple outfits and work great for everyday wear without feeling flimsy or overly trendy. If you want a shoe that looks strong, feels sturdy, and actually holds up over time, these are worth it.

Awesome shoes but confusing sizing
According to the measurements on the Dr. Martens website, I would be a size 5. I measured my feet according to the instructions there. However, after buying these in size 5 on Amazon, they are too tight. I had to return. I ended up getting these same shoes from Dr. Martens on their website in a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I would advise you size down for these. I'm normally a 6.5 or 7 in most shoes and size 6 in these and one other style of Docs fit me. I did need to wear two pairs of socks with the size 6 for a perfect fit. I hope this helps all those confused by the sizing. These shoes look great and feel pretty good. You will need to break them in. My previous Docs lasted over 5 years. Great shoes. Highly recommended

These are based in women's sizing
The sizing on these says Unisex (and they are) but to any women out there wondering what size to order: These run in whole sizes, so if you are in between sizes just stick with your size and dont go up or theyll be too big. I.e., if you are 5.5 go with a 5 or if you wear size 8.5 go with an 8. They leave just enough space for socks to fit comfortably on the feet and not to the point where your foot will scoot around and cause blisters after a few wears. I got them for my daughter who is 5.5 in women's. We werent certain which size to get, but with how these run and the slew of reviews describing the fit, we got the size 5 (men's 4 US/3EU) and they fit great! The soles are thick and provide height which made her smile because she is a short-stop at almost 5'1. They are great quality and have a solid construction (which I'm glad to admit because the price that these are at nowadays don't really get you quality most of the time) but these are really, really nice and well made!!

Heavier Shoe, Worth It for the Style
This is definitely a heavier shoe, but the style makes it worth it. They look great, feel sturdy, and the sole is surprisingly comfortable once you’re wearing them. They feel well made and worth the price. I wear them with baggy jeans or casually for everyday use.

Good enough
For my sizing, my heal slips out. I tried to size down, which was definitely too small. I wear them with my heal slipping out, but it's comfortable enough that way.
