Easy to learn to and play
A very fun simple to play game for ages 8 and up. The money in this game is so satisfying to use, with an elegant feel compared to cheap cardboard in most board games. It plays pretty quick making it a good ice breaker for board game nights.

Such a fun game - diet Catan
A fun, fast paced game that people who like Catan but don’t have time for Catan would probably like. Generates a healthy amount of game table conflict.

Fun game, but check the deck
My family was a bit hesitant to try this game at first, but they picked it up quickly once we started playing. While it looks a bit intimidating with all the cards laid out, it’s much less complicated than it seems. The gameplay flows smoothly, and it reminded me a bit of Dominion or even Settlers of Catan in some ways, which I really enjoyed. That said, I appear to be missing a single card. I can’t confirm if it was like that out of the box, but it hasn’t left the room where I unwrapped it, and we’ve only played once. I’d recommend counting the cards as soon as you open it to ensure the set is complete.

Great game!
I love this game! The rules and very easy to understand, the box is a little big but it has space to fit the expansions. The pieces are all great quality.

Super fun game that is casual and quick
Machi Koro is the kind of game where even when you're losing you're enjoying yourself. The artwork is cute and the cards are well-made (but be aware that the 5th anniversary card size is different from the original game's card size).Because the game play is very simple, young, casual, and experienced players can all enjoy simultaneously. Just roll the dice, get money from your buildings, buy new buildings. Because other players' rolls can affect your own buildings, inter-player contact is high, which makes for a much more interactive game. The expansion packs can be a good way to increase variety, but the base game is very enjoyable by itself.
