Garbage. Malfuctioned in a dangeerous way in less then 24 hours. If I could give it no stars I would.
If I could give this no starts I would. It does not work and is DANGEROUS to try and use with your dog. There are two possibilities with the problem:1) The less likely problem is that the item cannot hold a charge for more than a day and when it's going dead the collar activates, on it's own, and does not stop. My dog was trying to hide under the table, shivering in fear, because the collar was CONTINUALLY activating and would not stop (vibrating in this case).2) The more likely problem is it's malfunctioning, after only one day of use. As I mentioned above the collar was continually going off. When I removed it and plugged it in it make a constant beeping sound and would not stop. I let it sit on the charger for about 10mins, it never stopped. When I unplugged it it was trying to vibrate continually again until it ran dead (and yes, I reset it and repeated the process).Let me be clear... this thing is an utter piece of garbage regardless of which problem it is, because if the battery going dead, after only a day, is what caused it to constantly activate, then this is a DANGEROUS ITEM. If it's malfunctioning after a days use this is a DANGEROUS ITEM.There's no manufacturer name on the packaging, It's made in China. There's no contact info or support links. You can probably ignore most of the positive the reviews, they appear to have been written by frauds (check the other bad reviews for similar suspicions from other reviewers).

Good for the price - I use vibrate mode
I purchased this unit after I read another reviewer mention the "vibrate" mode - then I felt comfortable trying it - you don't have to "shock" your dog - just a little vibration will do. And it really has helped - I have a young timid dog who has decided to pretend he is aggressive with dogs he doesn't know - it sounds like he would rip someone's throat out - so now I can "vibrate" the collar as he starts and it snaps him out of that red zone. What I find a little frustrating is that the hand set turns itself off, so you have to quickly turn the unit on, each time you want to use it, you have to be sure it is in the right mode and then hit go - often, I have missed the training opportunity with all this mucking about. Would love the ability to LOCK the setting and keep it on while we are walking etc. But for the price, we are trying to work around this

Worked well
I have a small dog that had a issue barking at people leaving the room I was in and I tried about everything, this was the last resort. I tried it on myself first so I would have an idea of the "static" charge it was putting out. Needless to say 4 was my limit and I never went above 1 on the dog. At first when I used it on him he pretty much hid until the collar come off. Took about a week to stop hiding when the collar was put on. Took about 4 weeks to learn not to bark at people leaving the room.Anyways,Pros- Can be used with existing collars- Charge last for days, unless you're using it a lot- Remote sleep mode definitely saves the battery- Small- PowerfulCons- Remote respond time from sleep mode is a bit slow- Receiver must be in the line of sight with the collar- Sometimes when you press the button it doesn't hit, then you press it again and it will deploy twice

Effective product
I usually just use the vibrate mode on my Molly dog. I only use the color when we take the dogs to play ball bc she hangs on the older dog as their running for the ball. If the vibrate doesn't stop her then I just give her a quick zap at 30 and instantly she stops. You would think she would figure it out not to hang on the other dog by now. I know my other dog appreciates it, especially her ears. I don't use the beep warning bc the dog she's hanging on is quite sensitive to sounds and I'm afraid she will be frightened. She doesn't even like the chirp of a smoke detector and will not come inside for days if she hears it once. I did test this on my own arm also to make sure it wasn't inhumane.

Cheap feel but works well.
Its made out of cheap plastic compared to the sport dog brand. Works well, easy to set up. Only thing is it has a bit of a delay from the time you press the button to the time it shocks. Other then that very good for the priceUpdate 2-10-15Although the product worked well for the first week after the 2nd charge on the collar it no longer held a charge. The shock function worked intermittently and felt like it had more of a shock on a lower level then at 100. The anti bark feature never worked from day one. I have returned the product and I am waiting for a refund. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great product.
My dog got chewed up the first one I ordered. I loved it so much that I bought a second. I've been using it for months now and have had no problems. My dog no longer barks for attention, doesn't chew on the wall (yikes), and has also stopped humping other dogs.I love that it has the beeping and vibrating options. This allows me to give my dog a "warning". It's easy to connect the device to the controller. I highly recommend this, especially if you can get it on sale like I did.

Good for a few weeks
Worked well for about a month, and it was very effective on the vibration setting. I never used the shock setting. However, after about 3-4 weeks, the controller stopped working. The battery is a special type which is attached by wires and therefore not changeable. It would not charge at all. Amazon refunded our money, but we had to get a new training collar and lost some of the training we had done (curbing barking and digging) when she was no longer having any reminder to stop. Us saying "no" has little effect.

Works even for my boxer
I have a very very stubborn 3 year old boxer. She barks at the leaves blowing and jumps so hard on the back door that I am sure she will knock it down at any moment. I have had this for 2 days and she is a completely new dog. She has calmed down so much that I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it myself. Oh and I have only used the vibrate not even the shock. Highly recommend this!
