Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Chinese Barbecue Sauce - 8.5 oz.

I live in a small town and ordered it from Amazon because I couldn't find it locally and I'm glad I did. I love the flavor. I mixed 1/3 cup of Char Sui with 1 tablespoon of Hoisin sauce and 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. The cooking smells were wonderful,. I would recommend this product. I basted this on a small pork tenderloin. The sauce was so good that I ended up doubling the recipe.

This sauce is very flavorful without being too sweet or too spicy! No worry about breakage, it was packaged real well! Like trying to get into fort knox! LOL!

Not as intense at restaurants

We love this sauce for ribs. We lived in the UK for several years, and this is the sauce they used for their ribs. My son loves them and we've finally found it. We buy it every month or so... We cook the ribs in the crock pot, them put them on foil cookie sheets and slather on the sauce and bake for another hour. Fabulous!!! Thanks

made char siu ribs twice with this. a little thicker than i’d like, so i thinned it out just a little with some warm water. super yummy!

The char siu I made with this sauce came out fantastic. It was a lot of work, but the meat was phenomenal. If I ever decide to do it again, I'd definitely buy this stuff

Safety button was up. When I opened the lid doesn’t have a pop sound. It not safe for me to use. Very disappointing .

I thought this was the traditional Chinese sweet barbecue sauce, but I was mistaken. The package for the price was reasonable. But the flavor is sour. To the point that it is not consumable because of its sour flavor. I read a previous comment stating to add honey to it but it was not enough.
