Shea Moisture Kids Curl Butter Cream Coconut & Hibiscus 6 Ounce

This stuff is amazing. I have been looking all around for something for my biracial child's hair that is super curly. This stuff works best if the hair is a little damp. I just put about a half dollar amount in my child's hair and his hair stays curly and bouncy with no frizz all day. It has helped keep the moisture in my child's hair. I no longer notice any dry spots in his hair. It has this wonderful coconut scent. It is also non greasy and is a smooth cream.

Ok first the smell I am in love with....but you have to be a coconut fan. But did I say it smells good - ok yes - so I bought this for my biracial son who has medium curls and mixed texture hair - smooth on the top and coarse in the back - it makes his curls more defined and soft but it does not give a lot of hold -I like that this product does NOT contain any parabens, sulfates or phthalates....Overall if you are a fan of coconut and are looking for something to give soft definition to curls this is your answer....

This stuff is awesome! My guy has mixed hair which is incredibly curly but has a different consistency of curls throughout his little head. We use this as well as the detangler, shea shampoo and organic baby conditioner. This product is quite thick, only a very small (less than a pea size) is needed for a tiny head. We only use this product before going somewhere to keep the curls defined (as his hair is soft so it fluffy as soon as it's touched). The reply we only use it before going out is the product is thick and heavy. It doesn't keep his hair soft once applied bc I it's consistently and makes his head itch if left on too long. The product isn't an irritant but when my little boy runs and plays his head sweats, sweat trapped under thick product makes his head itch. I hope this review helps others as I relied on salon advice and the reviews to find the right product for my guy as my hair is bone straight I had to do some serious research before finding the right product.

This product is moisturizing for my hair without leaving and product build up. It defines my curls Nd there's minimum shrinkage. I know it states it's for kids but I find this product to work well for my 3c/4a mix curls. Other products can be to harsh or not enough hold. I'll only only have to apply this product after a wash and it'll hold the curl definition for 3-4 days with re application. Oh and it smells amazing!

This is the best hair product I've found for my 5 year old daughter's hair and I had tried many different things before for her long thick hair. This butter cream does wonders together with the Shea moisture detangler spray. Her hair is softer, manageable and it looks healthy and full of body. Best of all, she loves it and the wonderful scent!

As someone with thin, very curly hair, this is my favorite product. The scent is gorgeous, it feels luxurious, and it’s the best curl tamer I’ve found. Let your hair dry completely after applying - it will feel crunchy, but then you scrunch the curls a little and you’re left with super soft, bouncy curls!

I love this product because it moisturizes my baby hair soo well and has a lovely and welcoming scent that lasts for days even after rinsing her hair. I also noticed hair growth at the bald spot usually at the back of a baby's head. I just wished the price was lesser given the size of the product.
