I am aware fluorite comes in brown and not all Fluorite is crystal clear. The piece I received is BROWN and nearly opaque. No where in the description does it mention BROWN fluorite. I put it up to a flashlight to make sure what I got wasn't a muddy purple. It's BROWN. I asked two other people what color they thought it was. They both said BROWN. If that was what was pictured or described I would have given 5 stars because it's flawless and that's what I would have been expecting. But since that was not the case I am giving 3 stars for my flawless, nearly opaque, BROWN, tumbled fluorite.

Brown Flourite is one of the rarer colors of fluorite. I received a highly polished stone, 2/3 opaque striated brown with a faint hint of purple indoors but brown outdoors in the sun and 1/3 a clear translucent brown with again, the hint of purple hue indoors but what would be called a tea brown outside. . I find it a very interesting and complex stone. The stone is completely smooth and without any nicks at all and came in a labeled plastic bag.

The picture is misleading. I thought I would get more than one. My rock looks nothing like the one's pictured having several cracks. Overall not happy. On top of everything it was a prime purchase that took over 4 days for delivery. Im a little annoyed but nonetheless will keep it and hope that it's properties are intact.

The stone I received in the post today is green, clear and purple. The color lines in the stone are quite lovely and I think this was a really really great deal as the stone itself was only 13 cents! Anyway the colors in this stone are quite lovely and the size is very reasonable. I have paid much more for much smaller stones.

It's a lovely stone. Just a lot smaller than I was expecting.

My wife purchased this based on the product image portraying a 5-rock collection as part of a Christmas gift for a grandson. You can only imagine her disappointment at receiving only one piece of rock. The "one-piece" disclaimer was hidden in the "fine print". This is deceptive and a costly disappointment. Return shipping is not free and over-priced as well, making it too costly to return. This piece of stone weighed 3 tenths of an ounce on my postal scale, $287.47 per pound -- pure silver isn't that expensive!
