Naturally Sweet
This cornmeal produced the best cornbread I have ever made! The meal is a fine, even consistency and naturally sweet with an after taste of fresh picked corn. I recommend reducing or omitting added sugar in your recipe especially if you like drizzling honey on your warm cornbread.

Excellent product. Fresh. Store in the fridge.Check the great chef Edna Lewis’ Corn Griddle Cakes in her cookbook The Gift ofSouthern Cooking. Her cole slaw and salmoncakes are also “to die for”. Well everythingin that book is wonderful.

White Corn Meal
My mother grew up using white corn meal but has a difficult time finding it now days....particularly a good product. Homestead Gristmill is most excellent and ORGANIC.
