Good basic iron for the casual ironer!
This does everything I need an iron to do at a good price. It stays hot. It's smooth. If I need more steam, the burst of steam works great. It's very lightweight and easy to use. There's no cord storage that I can find, but this is a minor inconvenience for me.People who iron a lot may want a bigger water tank or other features. But if you're like me and don't iron a lot of things at one time, this does the trick.

Iron works as expected
This works as expected. It's lighter than my other iron, which is nice. Easy to use and instructions have information on each of the components.

Great Iron. Heats up quickly!
This iron works great! it heats up fast, and the different steam functions seem to work great! my only complaint is that where the cord leaves the body of the iron is rather stiff, and could be more pliable. Otherwise, it's a great iron

Has It All
I just wanted a simple iron that didn’t drip water all over my clothes, that had a cord that I could at least wrap around the iron when not in use, that wasn’t huge and didn’t weigh a ton, that didn’t have a dial under the handle that I could never read and that didn’t turn off after not using it for 2 minutes. I finally found it! And at a great price! I bought it used like new and it came in perfect condition. It is just the right weight and size, is easy to use and so far doesn’t leak. I had a Rowenta for years and hated the thing. This iron, for a fraction of the price, beats it by a mile. I don’t know how long it will last, but for the price, even if it only lasts a few years, is more than worth it.

Great little iron
After having a pricey, high end iron stop working after a few months, I decided I was going the inexpensive route. This iron is just as good and even better than the expensive iron. Heats really well (gets hot so be careful; I scorched some fabric because I was used to an iron that would not get hot enough and kept cutting off after a few minutes). The other iron was cordless which I found not to be a good thing. I didn’t want all the bells and whistles after fighting to keep that cordless iron hot. This iron is light weight, quickly heats up and stays hot for 30 minutes. I’m not fond of the auto cutoff, but all irons come with that feature. The price is right too. It will be interesting to see how long this iron lasts. I love it so far; can’t go wrong with this one!

It is FINE. However
Other reviews and the low price made me choose this model when I was spending a lot on all new electronics on moving from Europe to the US. It does the ironing sufficiently well for me at all the temperature settings. Nothing was damaged. It is FINE.However, you might want to take this experience into account when you are shopping for an iron. from the first, I noticed that this one is not 'ergo' designed, and so instead of 'effortless' movement while simply doing the job, I constantly noticed not only the job getting done, but how I felt while doing the job. I was constantly aware that I was holding it, moving it, sliding it with all the various hand, arm, back, and even leg movements that I had not really thought about being the fundamentals of 'ironing'. Fair enough. This iron is advertised as 'classic,' and those concerns about what the consumer feels like while using the product have only been part of product design for this sort of item for the past decade or so.After 6 months, i find the handle too firm (too basic, too unforgiving) to my slightly arthritic hand. It even has a mold-seam that in the course of the ironing was distractingly THERE across my palm. For a while using a bicycle glove with its padded palm helped ease the pressure a bit, but that was annoying and really just a patch, not a fix. And so after scouring the 'net for another iron with an easier handle, I've passing this one on to a charity shop. My new iron is bigger, heavier, holds more water, does seem to iron a sheet in about 1/2 the time that this one took, but but but tho its handle is smoother, it is not perfect, either, and it cost more than twice as much as this basic iron which, after all, DOES the job and doesn't drip.
