My second one after first got smashed up on a job. This works great and takes a beating as you can see! Suprising really, simple and keeps time so accurate, and can read well at night too. Obviously read upsidedown so I leave on uniform when checking but the clip is strong and has been used to hold keys etc too so I rate this highly. Cheap, effective and does the job. Plus, breaking it doesn't cost the earth so worth it.

Not sure if the battery is replaceable, when the time comes a trip to the jewellers will tell.

I bought this to replace one of those plastic/resin type nurse watches that ended up falling apart. One thing I will say, this watch does have some weight to it. Being an auxiliary nurse in an A&E dept, doing regular obs is part of my routine when on shift, so this watch stays in my pocket for ease of access. It's not the kind of watch you could happily have off your uniform and forget it is there, but in your pocket, it's not such an issue.The face is easy to read, so when making note of a patient's resps following the second hand movement isn't a problem. One thing to bear in mind, this watch looks to have a bezel, but it is not adjustable, but is, in fact, pressed into the metal of the casing, so is fixed. The clasp would be strong enough to secure to a uniform if that is your choice, but I wouldn't recommend it. Hanging off a bag/rucksack it would work fine. Time is accurate, the sweep of the second hand is marginally off at certain points, but at this price point, I seriously cannot complain.Does what is says on the tin, slightly larger than expected, but that and its physical weight you soon get used to and stop noticing. With those things in mind, I would recommend.

This watches stand out feature is the glow in the dark face. I like the weight of it. It came well packaged. I hope it lasts after reading some of the other reviews.

Stopped working in one year

Battery lasted less than a year, unable to open to change.

I’ve used dainty fob watches in the past which always get sent flying or break easily (I’m a veterinary nurse). Instead I now keep this in my pocket instead of wearing one, due to it being heavy in weight I always know it’s in my pocket and it isn’t easily misplaced. It can get knocked off, dropped and thrown and still seems intact (so far) I really love this watch. The design is clear to see and easy to read.
